Working on a GM game? Need music? Can work for free/cheap!

So, let's face it, my family's financial situation is pretty dire and there's no sign of anything immediately awesome on the horizon. My parents have so far lost their fairly well-paying jobs and finding a reasonable job in Latvia is nigh impossible at this moment.

I'm looking for ways I could earn some money and maybe, just maybe... someone will accept my music in a Game Maker game.

I *can* (and probably will) work for free for experience and portfolio but what I'm truly looking forward is working for cheap. The thing here is the amount of projects I can try to tackle at once. The more I can do, the more money I could potentially get. I mean, if you have the ability to pay at all, surely you could give me a few dollars for a particularly nice music track? And then another one... and another one, too... please?

Here's my music so far: http://is.gd/xAUfE7

This includes everything I've ever made for the "Wonderland animation" thing by eee226 (you can find that topic in "General Wonderland Discussion" and I hope I spelled eee's username correctly) plus a lot of other music that I've made. There are 24 tracks in total right now!

I know there are composers out there who do this hugely awesome orchestral whatever... but if the game itself does not look technically professional, overly bombastic music can heighten the contrast and HURT the game. So I hope someone on this forum (or on a few others) likes me and my music enough to help me out monetarily.

I wouldn't be asking here, but our situation is getting pretty desperate and me and my family need to do something. So here I am, trying to do something. :)

I would be willing to buy music for my game, but I don't know how I could get money to you. I don't have a credit card, and my parents probaly won't let me use theirs. Any ideas?

Payment will be worked out in a few days, actually -- at this moment I don't even have a bank account! I'll probably have one today and then I'll have to add it to PayPal or something...

boywhoflies: I don't know right now... I myself am quite new to how Internet money works. But I will work it out, I promise. :)

EDIT: OK, I've got myself a bank account. My credit card will be ready on Friday, most likely.

I'd love to donate. A good idea is to put your music up onto Bandcamp. Its a music site where you can buy music, and if author allows, at a set price (with a minimum). Bandcamp says that "On name-your-price albums, fans pay an average of 50% more than the minimum."

I'm a fan. 8)

I promise you to work out the payment in a few days (I need to receive my credit card and it's only going to be ready on Friday) and then I'll return here and those, who want to, will be able to donate. :)

You know, I wouldn't mind donating without the music part.
