SOPA and PIPA

I think this is a very serious issue at the moment and it shouldn't happen. Without the internet, life would be boring and companies could lose a lot of business. Please wirte your thoughts and opinions below

You all know about it. Stop Online Piracy Act. It's voted on in
6 days. Just six. Many sites have gone into a blackout as a strike against it. If it passes, practically all of the internet will be censored, perhaps even this site. (of course if it was passed Anonymous would hack into the government I bet)
THIS CANNOT HAPPEN.
There are multiple sites to petition, if you wish. Please, discuss this.

I stand very strongly against PIPA and SOPA myself. However, at its root it's a political issue, so this forum isn't the place for it. Sorry.
