Do you feel different in the plains and near mountains?

I need this for my science paper about mountains. Thanks for understanding. When the time is up, I'll remove this.
I assume that you specifically mean how does a human (or any other creature) react to
subtle gravitational differences when standing next to a 'mountain' as ompared to on a 'flatland'.
I think that the gravitational difference is so tiny, that no one can notice it.
That change would be measured in milliGals or microGals.

However the human will react to other things much more such as changes in temperature,
atmospheric pressure, atmospheric oxygen, and radiation, which are immediately noticeable, and not gravity.
However, if the moon orbited only 1000 miles above the earth instead of the regular 221,456 miles,
then you'd feel that gravity change each time our huge moon passed overhead in the sky,
as it would partially pull on the side of the Earth that it was closer to. That gravity change would be scary.
