Pokèmon

I'm surprised there hasn't been a topic like this yet.

Anyway I'm starting to get back in the Pokemon spirit since I was randomly playing Pokemon Emerald on my emulator with cheats. I have physical copies of Pokemon yellow, silver, sapphire, and emerald (the best one :O ). I plan to save up for Pokemon Black 2 and the collector's edition strategy guide for it so I don't rage whenever I don't know what to do. Also, right now is a good time to get it because I can get the legendary pokemon Meloetta which, as far as I know, can only be obtained during a Pokemon event until April 16th.

Maybe if I'm good enough with Pokemon again, I'll probably get Pokemon X or Y, the sixth gen games

The 6th has come already?????

Never mind, here's my pokemon story. I played pokemon leaf green a week before I released my hub. I played it in a VBA emulator at 200% speed of play. You know what my team after I beat elite 4 first was? This time I chose blastoise as I got bored of charizard.

BLASTOISE - 57
PIDGEOT - 54
NIDOQUEEN - 57
NIDOKING - 58
VICTREEBELL - 53
DRAGONITE - 63

Nice team?

You're parents won't allow you? Wow, they're really serious. :(

Anyway, I found my old GBA SP and played a new Pokemon Emerald game. I have another SP, a link cable and Sapphire so I can transfer Pokemon that Emerald doesn't have.

I think I'm able to buy things online after knowing about credit card prepaid cards. If possible, I'll buy a GBA flash cart. It has a USB to connect to the computer which I can add GBA roms to the cartridge. I can have multiple roms on the cart. If I get it, I'll put the other third-gen pokemon games in; Ruby, Leafgreen, and Firered.

Speaking of Emerald, In case you haven't noticed, Stuff that goes on at the Battle Frontier are designed to make the battle really hard for you. It's evil. That's why I don't plan to go there after I beat the champion.

My mom says I can't because it's a game in which the main focus is you raising creatures to fight each other, and she hates fighting games. She read THIS, and that ruined it for me:
"POKEMON IS EVIL" wrote:Parents are more divided. One mother compared the trading cards to drugs: "You give them their first hit and they want more." And two months ago in San Diego, two parents filed suit against Nintendo, alleging that card collecting and trading constituted illegal gambling.

Well when you put it that way... :|

Blah, dumb "Pokemon is Evil" pages are dumb, and usually stretch the truth to make Pokemon seem as satanic as possible despite the fact that it's not that satanic.

...They're a cringe-inducing read.

And yet my mom believes them. Sad, huh?

I strategically chose my pokemon in Emerald. I just defeated the third gym leader who specializes in Electric type pokemon. The three current pokemon I have are level 24 Combusken, level 25 Breloom, which was the only pokemon I used to defeat the leader, and a level 28 Swellow with the move Endeavor. Awesome move.

Hah. I remember I was an idiot when I first got my Pokemon Sapphire cartridge. I picked a starter pokemon and was the only one I was leveling up. It was really hard trying to get it through the game. It reached Level 100 and I still couldn't beat the champion, but eventually I did.

I've loved Pokemon for years,
I got Emerald last year and can't stop playing,
And I found another guy with a GBA SP which he found, maybe 3 days ago and can't put it down.
BLAZIKEN! OH YEA!

I'm currently raising a Geodude which will be very helpful. Later I'm going to tackle the fire gym, then normal, then flying. Geodude is rock and ground type which are strong against those three types in the gyms.

Also, Emerald is the best downloaded rom on the internet!

Pokemon Emerald was my first Pokemon game ever. Pretty fun. Now I'm not so interested in it though.

I liked platinum, in my opinion was the last DECENT game they made before all this black and white poop.

die
EDIT: Let me clarify:
I liked platinum, too, but seriously, hating Pokemon Black for seemingly no reason brings up a red flag for me. Sorry for that outburst.
What on earth is wrong with Pokemon BW/BW2?

Have I made the right decision for changing my mind from getting Black 2?

...and for what reason? "Fighting is mean"? That's...pretty lame, especially when it's not the player being hurt. In fact, it's not even real at all. It's just graphics on a computer moving and things do stuff when you press buttons.

On the topic of Pokemon, I've never really found Pokemon interested. My cousin semi-forced me to play a game, and it was kinda fun, but taking one step and entering another detour (Or should I say it as 10-second battle.) was really annoying for me.

Try saying that for Resident Evil. Those games actually have pretty realistic gore.

Ever Grande City from the 3rd generation series consists of only a pokecenter, victory road, and the pokemon league. YOU CALL THAT A CITY?

Black 2 is easily one of the best games in the series so far. I personally can't wait for Pokemon X/Y.

She's okay with me watching some slightly violent movies, but she hates the thought of me played a slightly violent video game. She says that I'd be "participating" in the violence and it could make me want to do stuff like that for real.

I have just finished emerald. And my team is:

SWAMPERT - Lv 56
BLAZIKEN - Lv 57
SCEPTILE - Lv 52
SWELLOW - Lv 54
FLYGON - Lv 58
AGGRON - Lv 55

I got those starters by using advance map tools

YES I DID

Using the walk through walls, always your turn, and 999 HP gameshark codes, I beat the champion with only a level 47 sceptile and easily got the luck symbol when I got to the battle frontier.
