Eversion

Has anybody heard of a game called Eversion? It's a freeware indie game platformer that you can find at Zaratustra Productions. The catch is that in certain areas, the sky will change color, and pressing the evert button will change the world in a way. For example, clouds you previously couldn't stand on are now solid.

You are a terrible, terrible person. (I'm not actually serious about that, but in such cases it's a "standard reply", so it had to be said. No offence intended.)
I have heard about this game, in fact my first exposure to it was through a Let's Play. I later found out that it was scripted, but it was rather convincing, very well-acted. Considering my love for horror-based stuff, I *really* wish I had a chance to play this game unspoiled.
So, the REAL catch can be described with a quote from DeceasedCrab's scripted Let's Play:
"STOP YOUR CHEERY LIES! STOP YOUR CHEERY LIES!!!"
If you like creepy madness, go play Eversion NOW, without reading anything else about it. Don't spoil it for yourself, like I did.
If you do not like creepy madness, then for god's sake stay away. Your soul and sanity will thank you for doing so.
(As for DeceasedCrab: if you want to see him pretending to lose his mind, watch his Eversion LP. If you want to see him REALLY lose his mind? Watch his blind LP of the original La-Mulana's "Hell Temple". It's not creepy, but it's the most ridiculously brutal and unfair area in the game.)

Not quite sure what the horror is, but his LP voice makes the whole thing sound horribly scripted.

His voice is always the same, even in his blind LPs.
As for the horror...
wait and see.
Just keep watching. It's impossible to miss.

His scripted things sound like some movies with deep meanings instead of an LP.
He was like "The truth. The Ending. The-" *dies* "OH COME ON!"
I've seen Antichamber's creepy part before, so I don't think it's too scary. But the plot twist though...

Wait, Antichamber has a scary plot twist? I guess that means I should shut up right about now and go play it, right?
As for DeceasedCrab, he's pretty much like that, ALL the time. Even in his blind LPs (like the GLORIOUS Hell Temple episodes of his La-Mulana LP) he manages to be the most pompous and over-the-top LPer I've ever seen. If you want to see a more "tranquil" DeceasedCrab, watch his playthrough of Within a Deep Forest and keep in mind that this is about as non-over-the-top as he gets.
You have to admit, though, that his acting skills are miles ahead of your usual scripted LPs. His scripting skills, on the other hand... I'm just gonna pretend that episode of his Maze of Galeious LP never existed.

Antichamber does not really have scary plot twists, it's just that the overall ambient creepiness is... well, creepy.

I've seen his LP's, they're pretty cool. However, the final level he played was an old version, and the new version has the final level completely changed.

I've heard this game suddenly turns dark or something. Haven't tried it, though...
Going to now.
