General Forum Glitch Report

Lately, more and more often, I've been logging on to the forum and having posts I made the last time before I logged out presented as new. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

Oh yeah, this has happened to me many times before. It usually goes away after awhile. Just mark stuff as read and eventually the problem will correct itself.

Well, it happens pretty often that when I check a certain topic classified as "new", when I go back to the main page, it still sees it as "new". It didn't happen about a week or two ago.

This has happened to me ever since I joined the forums.
It happens if I ex off my browser too soon after I posted, and/or come back too soon.

If you click on the link back, the forum processes it, but if you just use the Back arrow, you're going to the page when it was new. Reloading helps then.

No, that's exactly what I was doing. It's just that before, it took no time to register the information that I read the topic, but now, it takes much more time.

The problem comes and goes every once in a while for me - at this point, it just happens a few times every once in a while.

It might just be lag. I have both problems a lot sometimes too.

Whenever I read any post on this forum (that includes my own) then it will still be marked as new afterwards. For example, I just read this topic then went back to the "Off Topic - *New and Moderated*" forum. This topic is still marked as new no matter how many times I look at it.
If I wait a long time then come back it will eventually be marked as old, or if I select "Mark all topics read" then it will be marked as old.
