Command 12 Discussion

Post by Jutomi » Mon Mar 10, 2014 6:30 pm

Well, I've noticed that people keep posting about the illuminous command 12; the music changer.

One of these people happen to be me. :P

So, I've decided to put together a topic for discussion of how command 12 works, and what players' opinions on it and its effects on the music are.

Currently, my opinion is that when "Pastoral" is set to 10, it sounds almost...

kind of evil.

All so, I found Mynameiskooky's use of a hyper-version of the kaboom! village music to be hilarious!

And therefor, I think that this is one of the funnest commands added to the game.

So, yeap, feel free to post what you think, what you know, and how you feel about C12 here.

Sorry about the sudden mini-bump, but I would just like to mention that when pastoral is slowed down to 25-28, I think it makes great elevator music.

As you'll see in this next adventure I'll be making.

Er...
Is there a way to change the pitch of the music (or is it changed along with the tempo?)

I think it's with tempo, but no body seems to be quite sure what data 2 and 4 do - if any thing.

I'd think that 2'd do some thing, though. :P

Can someone give me a quick explanation of how this Command works? I can't seem to get the data values right. :(

Data0: Volume (100 is the default maybe).
Data1: Unknown.
Data2: Tempo (44/45 is the default if you need a reference point).
Data3: Also unknown.
