I figured out that problem I posted about in the old Custom Content section by using MNIK's PowerWop to give a sign wee stinker models. I also made a second wop with the activation-type set to 21 instead of 1001.
However, signs aren't really meant to be turned on and off like gates, so a statue that you set in the editor as deactivated can't be made to talk and a destroyed statue still acts like a wall. The deactivated one will still toggle its shadow and luminescence though, amusingly enough.
If you have a statue set to active in the editor though, it will toggle normally at the preset speed you give it, even if you deactivate it in-game as soon as the level starts.
Below is a package with a test level and a small adventure using the statues, the statue wops and a WA1 era chomper NPC wop that I believe was made by QLoof, and the necessary textures for the adventure level. If you haven't already, make a 'CUSTOM' or 'Custom' folder in your main waeditor300 directory and place these three files inside.
Place the wops in whatever folder within waeditor300 > Data > Editor > ObjectPresets that you like, or make a new folder in ObjectPresets. I personally put these wops, along with the magic mirror, Beta Custom Item, and SkyMap in an 'extra' folder I added on.
You can access the other three wops I just mentioned by going to Emerald's guide and scrolling to advanced objects, where he has links to each topic with the wop downloads.

There's a button on the keyboard with the words "Print Screen" or "Prnt Scrn" on it. Whenever you want to take a screenshot, press this button and what is currently on your screen will have been copied. You can then paste the image into MS Paint or whatever other image editor you have and export it.

Remember to look at the dates that every post is made. It's been many years, and I, and others, may not be the same people we were when we made them. This is a symbol of where we came from, and should be remembered as that.

I'm not gonna lie, you first adventure is pretty good aside from the decoration issue you mentioned on that sign. But you may wanna start doing the adventures for your hub before the hub itself and get some practice, because the hub part of hubs are actually pretty complicated. (I'm trying to build one right now).FinnThor wrote:I love using the NPC Chomper, and the Magic Mirror WOP mentioned in this post will help me, because i'm thinking about making a hub.
If only i could figure out how to take a screenshot of me making the level in the editor...
Hooray! It works!LittleZbot wrote:There's a button on the keyboard with the words "Print Screen" or "Prnt Scrn" on it.
