Adventure #81: Strongest Links
This adventure demonstrates the power of the "Linked" and "LinkBack" attributes, which are normally only used to move objects together with transporters. It turns out this actually works with almost any object logic in the game.

Wat.
Guys, I'm starting to think MNIK has WA4 before everyone else.
Unbelievable. Wowee. Well, I'm gonna say it again: whenever I thought this game has hit its boundaries, you just break the rules and go even further, thank you for this adventure and concept MNIK.
I'm worried what 'vivid' creations can be done with the linking feature, however...
Thanks again!

Uploaded version 2 to patch a loophole: you're not supposed to take any Brr charges outside of the first room with the Baby Boomer.

Truly a historic masterpiece. Thank you for the nonsense, my friend.

What an epic adventure! There were some devious puzzles, some terrifying action sequences, and at the end I definitely died in real life.

i should change my signature to be rude to people who hate pictures of valves

You could probably make a wormlike creature with this mod, think a chomper and cuboids as an eastern dragon type enemy.ab-47 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 1:23 amWat.

Not really around much these years.
Re: Adventure #81: Strongest Links
Haha, would be nice, but unfortunately things only seem to stack on top of each other - and often times partially at that. There're still several applications, but I fear it's somewhat limited / restricted. I'm hopeful this will be abused in the coup collab though.
Turns out this is vanilla, by the way! Although you do need a specialized editor to actually change the values, it's fully playable without openwa or anything.

Re: Adventure #81: Strongest Links
Strongest Links Version 3 has been released:
- A hub area has been added, letting you attempt the challenges in any order you wish.
- Added two new rooms, one of which is an optional challenge.
- Added a checkerboard to the springbot puzzle to make it easier to visualize.
- The turtle puzzle has been substantially simplified. This means the old version's loophole is also fixed.
- Fixed a loophole in the Baby Boomer room that made it possible to save a Brr in the very first area.
- Fixed the OpenWA bug that made this adventure not run properly in vanilla.
- Can't backtrack out of the Lurker room anymore.
