Version Question

Post by ILoveWonderland » Wed Oct 03, 2007 12:43 pm

You know how in games you make there are usually more versions (For example, WA is now 1.06), how do you know what number to give it (For example, why did you give WA 1.06, why not 1.05 or 1.07?)?
Insert stupid jokes here.

It's somewhat random, but I based the increment on how much time has passed and how much new stuff is in the next update.

e.g. v1.16 to v1.17 in Wonderland was just a tiny update (language fix).
e.g. v1.00 to v1.06 in WA had several bug fixes and new features.

You mean like if you add 7 new features to the next WA update, it will be 1.06 + 0.07 = 1.13 ?
Nice :D
