Davey is doing GOOD

Post by lakeowl » Mon Oct 29, 2007 4:35 am

A small update on Davey for all of you, my wonderland family

We have to monitor his diabetes closely. The dressing (foam stuffing) in the surgery area is sealed with a vacumn to suck out all the drainage must changed 3 times a week. The Dr's said it could take months or longer for this area to heal. But we are very optimistic because Davey is usually a fast healer. Time will tell. Thanks to God and you my wonderland family for you continued prayers, love and support.

I will try to update you all every week as to his progress.

Thanks again everyone

Bonnie

Sounds like Davey is going thru what my hubby's cousin had to go thru over a year ago. Only he was in really bad shape, all hope was lost, then they got a phone call and he had a liver and pancreas transplant, he wasn't even on the list. His wife says it was a miracle. Now Dale is doing great, doesn't even need his insulin shots anymore. We seen them last Christmas and he looked like he'd never been sick. His organs came from a woman so he gets teased a lot.

Have faith Bonnie. I will keep him in my prayers.

I'm so happy to hear this good news, Bonnie! Thank you for sharing! :D
It's been great opportunity for all of the Wonderland community to pull together and lift up Davey in prayer.
God knows everything and has His Hand on your little one.

That's wonderful news! Thank you for sharing with us.

(Also just a note that I'm moving these threads to Off-Topic now. I didn't want to move them previously, as many responded to the thread and might have wondered where it went.)

All the best,
