OMG!!
Between some major changes at the office, and being caught up in political stuff here in the states (get out the vote campaigns, etc. Wisconsin is one of the target states after all) I've been out of touch for over a week. It seems like months. How am I ever going to get caught up? All of you are so PROLIFIC!
Anyway, it's good to be back in the real world of Wonderland, rather than the surreal world of U.S. politics. Hard to believe that some of my friends/acquaintances don't think it's important to vote. With everything going on here and in the world I can't think of a more important time to do everything possible to make your voice heard.
Sorry about the political rant, and I've tried to be careful to not express any affiliation or slant, because that's not the purpose of this forum. Whatever your leaning, if you are a U.S. citizen I hope you vote on Nov 2. Those of you from elsewhere, pray for all of us to have wisdom in these important times.
Not sure how I got started on this line, I mostly meant to say I'd missed all of you in my absence in the past week + but I guess I gave you a taste of what my life has been in the last few weeks (don't get me started on the office stuff).
Best to all, I hope I'm back in the swing of things.

Welcome back Steve, I wondered where you had got to.
Funny how you mention some friends who don't vote.
This has been a bone of contention with me for years. When I hear anyone spouting off about the government etc, can't resist saying..
"You have no right to complain or criticise, when you vote that's when your entitlement begins!"
Maybe that seems a bit harsh. Getting off the soap box now.
Back to Wonderland world.

Hi Steve, I know what you mean about being in a targeted state - me too. I haven't posted much lately because of all our hurricanes. I totally agree with you! I can honestly say that I have voted in every primary/general election since I have been of legal age to do so and that is over 40 years. So I just don't accept the excuses used to not vote. Just study the issues and get out there and vote on Nov 2 or if your state has early voting, go do that.
Thanks Steve! Yes, we have finally gotten things cleaned up and the electricity back. We were a lot more lucky than the people up in Pensacola. I read in the paper today that the people up there that need their roofs repaired or replaced, may have to wait up to 2 years for the professionals to get around to doing it. Roofers are hard to find that are free to do the work even around here, but not that bad. Around here, we feel very blessed that the season is almost over and to have survived with no major damage.
BTW, I love your levels!
