How about some pics instead of just saying what level the Kill Screen is? Also specify the game, please.

Sammy_Bro, please don't be a Spammy_Bro.

I am presuming that the point of this topic is dedicated to your 156th post, I suggest you only draw attention to milestones* and then make a normal post on a normal topic then say slightly below it: "( *number goes here* posts!)", at least that is what I do anyway.

*Examples of milestones: 1000 100 500 2000 3000 200 5000 4000 50 150 250 800 600 6000 ect.....

If this topic is not about your post amount then please say what it is about because I don't understand what a "Kill Screen" is.

billy bob has a point.

A Kill Screen is a level in a game with a programming fault that won't let you pass the Kill Screen level. One well known Kill Screen is level 256 on Pac-Man that is impossible because of some glitchy Pac-Dots.

Not quite.

In the case of Level 256 of Pac-Man, it's not the dot's fault. The way bonus fruit is measured in the game counts one ahead of the level you're in, and 256 (255 in game data) is the maximum, so it rolls back to 0. The fruit counter draws each part of the fruit at a certain position based off of its level. It stops when it reaches 0, but since it's already at 0, it rolls back and draws 256 fruit, deleting some of the dots.

Well, that IS a programming fault. They probably didn't expect someone bored enough to reach level 256. And it doesn't delete the dots, it glitches up the entire right side of the screen. You can't see the glitchy dots because they are in the lettery junk. The glitchy dots respawn after you die.

SammyP/SammyBro - I see a lot of spammy back and forth between the two of you. Please reign that in (esp. since the irony of having a "save our forum" banner in your signature is tad heavy ;) ).
