Follow what it says. Go to the options screen and make it initialize. Or whatever it's supposed to do, not sure what thingy you have.

You're doing it wrong. Go to the options menu (IIRC, the BIO's menu is in there), and set the BIO files properly. Then load the game.

If that doesn't work, then something's wrong with the BIO files.

... Why are you trying Sonic CD anyways? It's actually one of the most boring Sonic games, in my opinion. And I've played Sonic 2006.

Also, there's no music if you're emulating it. :(

SCD is pretty fun, but I know what you mean. If you play it more than 3 times, it gets boring fast.

Weird, it works fine for me.

Here, I just played it some.

Problems:
1. Time posts. They suck.
2. The special stages are even worse than Sonic 2's.
3. The level design is really awkward and overall sucks.
4. The bosses aren't fun.
5. It's really glitchy.

I mean, the first time you play it, it's fun, but then it sucks afterwards.

Everything ~xpr'd~ says is what I have to say about it. The level design is just a huge mess.

Also, what bosses? It's like, impossible to be damaged by them

Ignore time posts and special stages, then it's kinda cool. But S3K is better.
Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

This on so many levels. Sonic 3 & Knuckles is the best 2D Sonic game I've ever played. I'm not playing it on an emulator with savestates, either - Yay, Sega Genesis.

SonicCD is the only SONIC game you get to race someone DUR!!!
It also looks on the test if sonic is really the fastest thing alive or is metal sonic the true fastest Thing PROGRAMED?

What?
Anyway, I like SCD for it's whole "speed must be earned" thing, but it wasn't done as well as in S1. Though in a way tails the fox does have a point: one of the highest points of the game is the race against Metal Sonic.

And since there are so many Sonic fans here, has anyone tried to play the games without ever collecting a single ring? It's unbelievably difficult, but with some savestates it's tons of fun. Some levels aren't possible, though, and some that aren't are pretty much TAS-only.
