From oldest to newest manufactured:
- Sega Genesis
- Nintendo 64
- Game Boy Color
- Playstation 2
- Nintendo Gamecube

- Playstation 3
I also have a Sega Game Gear somewhere in my house, but only my sister plays it, so I didn't include it on my list.
Favorite game on each system:
- Sega Genesis: Sonic the Hedgehog 3
- Nintendo 64: Zelda Ocarina of Time
- Game Boy Color: Pokemon Gold
- Playstation 2: Final Fantasy X or Tales of the Abyss, can't decide.
- Nintendo Gamecube: Tales of Symphonia or Super Smash Bros. Melee
- PC: Within a Deep Forest, I suppose
- Playstation 3: I just got it, so I'm not sure yet.
Anyone else wanna list their favorite games on systems?

I heard that the daytime stages are awesome and the other ones are terrible. They keep finding a way to screw up every Sonic game. The only 3D one I've seen without something slowing it down significantly is Sonic Heroes.~xpr'd~ wrote:Xbox 360 - Sonic Unleashed (only the daytime stages)
Oh snap, forgot about that possibility. Yeah, Sonic 3 & Knuckles is definitely my favorite as well.~xpr'd~ wrote:Sega Genesis - Sonic 3 & Knuckles (lolz expansion)

Sonic Heroes was awesome as well. It's like Sonic Team needs to go back in time to learn how to make Sonic games. At least they're working on Sonic 4. I think it looks like they're finally going back to their roots and doing something right.~xpr'd~ wrote:Sonic Heroes was awesome as well. It's like Sonic Team needs to go back in time to learn how to make Sonic games. XD
Yeah, only thing bad about it was that I could never beat it. SANDOPOLIS ZONE STAGE 2 IS THE STAGE OF MY NIGHTMARES~xpr'd~ wrote:Sonic & Knuckles was awesome. It's like 3 games in 1. :3

Gamecube is really fun! If you don't have many games yet, I recommend:LittleZbot wrote:I have the computer(OF COURSE) and today just got Gamecube.
- Super Smash Bros. Melee if you're into fighting games
- Animal Crossing if you're into peaceful games
- Sonic Adventure 2 Battle if you like Sonic, and a lot of variety in a game
- Tales of Symphonia - if you like RPG's (also, my favorite game ever)
- Pikmin if you like puzzle/exploration games

To Shorty, who was immortalized in an adventure.
To Marinus, who was my community older brother.
To Janet, who I will remember every time I wear a toque.
May these lost Wonderlanders find true adventure beyond us.

I've tried it. My friend J-Tagged his Xbox 360, and the only thing I can see wrong is the Rush Physics.TheoX wrote:At least they're working on Sonic 4. I think it looks like they're finally going back to their roots and doing something right. :P

- Super Smash Bros. Melee just fight other people with video game characters
- Animal Crossing not sure
- Sonic Adventure 2 Battle many different kinds of levels, but usually sonic's about speed(he can run 760MPH)
- Tales of Symphonia - role playing battle game IIRC
- Pikmin explore/solve puzzles (i guess)

Ehhh... Sonic Unleashed's nighttime stages aren't bad, they just... aren't what you'd expect from a Sonic game. At all.TheoX wrote:I heard that the daytime stages are awesome and the other ones are terrible. They keep finding a way to screw up every Sonic game. <3 Sonic 3 & Knuckles, best Sonic game ever IMHOTheoX wrote:Oh snap, forgot about that possibility. Yeah, Sonic 3 & Knuckles is definitely my favorite as well.~xpr'd~ wrote:Sega Genesis - Sonic 3 & Knuckles (lolz expansion)
Having seen someone from Sonic Retro do a complete runthrough of Sonic 4 (or the current beta of it at any rate), I can say that it definitely does not have Rush's awful physics engine.~xpr'd~ wrote:I've tried it. Granted, it's not quite Classic Physics, but it's pretty damn close.

Descriptions as requested, for these GameCube games:
Super Smash Bros. Melee - A game where you choose from many Nintendo characters to fight each other. Has much more variety than the average fighting game. Best part is the multiplayer - four players can face off, it's so much fun.
Animal Crossing - A peaceful game where you live in a town with animals. Very relaxing. You can catch bugs/fish, decorate your house, do jobs for money, and lots of other stuff. Time passes as in real life.
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle - The Sonic games are generally about rushing through areas really fast. This game has racing stages with Sonic/Shadow, treasure-hunting stages with Knuckles/Rouge, and Robot.. stages with Tails/Robotnik. The Robot stages are annoying, but the game is exciting and fun overall.
Tales of Symphonia - I don't know if you have played any RPG's, so I'll explain a little about how they work. You control a party of characters and go on adventures battling monsters, in most RPG's. In ToS, you control some people who are on a quest to save the world. However, this quickly changes as the characters encounter problems way out of their control, and... tons of awesome plot development happens. I can't do the game justice through explanation. If you like RPG's at all, try this game.
Pikmin - You are stranded on an alien planet, and find strange little creatures called Pikmin. You gather them and help them find food to create more of them, solving puzzles and finding pieces of your ruined spaceship. There is a sequel that is also very fun.
