I have tried several times to get a Wonderlanders Anonymous group going for all us addicts, but no one ever seems to be able to break away long enough to come to the meetings.

*** ROFL!! ! ***

Guess I've joined the ranks! :)

If you don't see me posting much, you'll know what I'm doing instead. :)

You know... could be a lot worse. Have been thinking about this in the five mins I was able to tear myself away from it... I now understand how people get addicted to gambling... I strongly suggest NONE of you EVER walk into a casino... and I suspect I'm not joking on that one.

And now... I'm already getting addicted to making new levels. Oh well... guess my house didn't really need to be sold... taxes can be put off... kids and animals can fend for themselves... who's gonna notice if I've been wearing the same clothes for the last 12 days?... think of all the gas money I'm saving not food shopping...

Hmmm... can not getting enough sleep kill you?

It's not all bad - I've lost half a stone (about 3 kgs) and never been so well off. I never go shopping anymore and computer is sufficient distance from the fridge to stop the munchies .

I had put Wonderland down and pretty much gotten over the addiction until Secret Gardens came out, and believe me, I had it BAD for quite a few months. I did it without a 12-step program. Now here I am, back checking the forum regularly and working my buns off to get thru the "official" levels so I can see what is going on in the world of custom levels.

Some little voice in my head is saying, turn off the Wonderland program, back away from the computer....but it's such a little voice, and I'm not listening!

Dianna -- I also had backed away for a while, now it's back!! I am also having tremendous trouble keeping up with Custom Levels, mostly just look at the names now and don't get any further.

Triana -- Nice to have another Wisconsinite here! I don't know if you have been doing Return to Wonderland Custom Levels at all, but there are a few in there with a Wisconsin theme "Wisconsin in March" and "Road Construction" by me, and of course jg's "Beer Quiz". I'm glad there is someone around who will understand some of my obscure references.

Popo, that's great! Yep, that message is very appropriate for me, as well as most of the Wonderlanders, I would guess.

That's cute, Popo.

Only problem is, I don't understand how to do the things mentioned.

I guess it would help if I knew what fresh air and going outside was all about.

I sort of recognize the words, something to do with childhood, I think.

Yes it's very scary isn't it. The big wide world. Much safer inside glued to the monitor.

I have to venture out in 3 weeks, going on my holidays. I will need my husband to hold my hand, and to keep reassuring me that Wonderland will survive without me for a couple of weeks.

He's very supportive like that.

It will feel good ,holding a warm hand not a cold keyboard.
and to look into Eyes that look back at you.And when you speak to them,
They answer you.

    That's hilarious Popo. Thank you. I needed that!   Unfortunately, I have to go out. I spend a lot of time outside, even in the wind and rain. :( I always think of Wonderland then. Hope you have nice weather for your holidays. :)

We'll miss you Popo. Do you have to take all three weeks at once ? ? ?
And surely you're taking your lap top with you, aren't you ? ? ?
What's the point of going away for R & R if it's all going to be ruined by withdrawal symptoms :!: :!: :!: :!:

In seriousness, though - where are you going on holiday? Hope you have a wonderful time
We really will miss you, Poopsie (if I may call you that on special occasions - it is a term of endearment, but I don't want to appear too forward).

It's on it's way, MADWD! 900! That would be the biggest single order our store has ever taken! My boss would die of happy shock!
Thanks for the compliment, by the way. You should see the look on some peoples' faces when I tell them I deliver pizzas. I think it's kind of fun! The tips make the pay better than what they pay substitutes here. I couldn't afford to keep teaching!
