Thanks everyone.
I wouldn't say it was exactly relaxing. It was quite an eventful holiday. I fell down and injured my foot the first week, which made walking a bit difficult. Then got heat stroke the second week which put me out of action for a few days. But all in all it was a good holiday.
I didn't get as many photos as I would have liked due to not being able to walk properly but I did get some, mostly architecture and landscapes.
And I ate far too much food. The restaurants on the ship were open 24hrs a day. Try as you may to stick to a healthy balanced diet, it is far too easy to over indulge when you're faced with the mountains of mouthwatering dishes they have on offer. Definitely not the sort of holiday to choose if you are on a diet.
The entertainment on board was first class. The Show Team work very hard day and night and are very professional, worthy of any Broadway show.
In fact, all the staff on board can't do enough for you, they really make you feel special. I would recommend a cruise to anyone, and they're not just for fuddy duddies anymore, younger people and folks you'd find on regular package holidays are cruising now. It is very affordable and definitely value for money.
Well, now that I've done advertising, I'll get back to the laundry.

Were you away Poops????
I didn't even notice!
Tell the truth, you fell down drunk when running after the captain.
Seriously, thanks for all the text messages. It was great to read about all the places you visited.
Hurry up and get all that washing done, I don't want you bringing it over to me.

I refused to see the doctor, he charged £28 just to look at you and extra for any medication. I hobbled to a pharmacy instead and bought some dressings. I am soooo mean.

If you had seen the captain you'd know that I was running AWAY from him.Davimad wrote:Tell the truth, you fell down drunk when running after the captain.

I actually did it scrambling down a hill to look at a mouldy 4000 year old cork tree in Sardinia. It wasn't worth the pain, I can tell you.
