Hey Annie - we are staying near Poole in Dorset - gorgeous sandy beaches there (Sandbanks). Stan's father has a caravan and we always have a week somewhere in England in it - the boys love it! There isn't room to swing a cat but we don't care - its cosier that wayann3120 wrote:Where are you going, and where do you stay?
Hotel, boarding house, B&B or caravan?

I would love to have seen all those places as they were "back then", in their hey-day.
When I was born Bournemouth was in Hampshire, and then they changed the county lines. Very confusing.
I have very vague memories of seeing either the Queen Elizabeth or the Queen Mary in the harbour there. I think it was the Q.E. I have since spent one night on the Q.M. in her dock in Long Beach/Los Angeles. She is now a hotel. Have you seen the new Q.M???
No - but I'll be seeing her soon - she's holding a convention for us don't you knowann3120 wrote: Have you seen the new Q.M???
