Help-How to add Screenshots

I used Alt+PrtScrn, opened WordPad, Paste, and save file to create a screenshot.

Now, I can open the file on my pc, but I can't figure out how to put it into a thread.

Anyway, help please!!!

Hi Dee

You just click the Browse button at the bottom of this box, find the file you want, double-click on it, and it's file path will appear in the box.

When you click submit, your screenshot will be there.

You need to save it as a jpg. Paste it into Paint instead of Wordpad, then you can crop it and save it as a jpg to My Pictures. Then use the browse button to find it and upload it.

Thanks to Liz, Popo, and Mette.

I don't know what a jpg is, but it obviously has to due with a picture file vs a document file. So, I ran search for any files *.jpg, tried opening a few and I discovered I have Paint on my computer.

Now, with your answers and some time to play, I can learn this trick, too.
Thanks, I love learning to do new things with my computer.

BTW, this is my first jpg!!!!!!!!!And, YES, I know it needs lots of work. When I clicked on the link in my Topic Reply for this thread, this is where I ended up. Wondering why???

Dee, I think your first jpeg looks great!!! There are those of us here that are Technology Challenged, I am one, I ask questions on how to do everything & I've discovered there are a lot of people here willing to help with just about anything.

It's a strange little community, & I love being a part of it.
