Granny Nanny

Post by Ramonda » Mon Dec 12, 2005 7:03 pm

Hi Shorty and Ohbehave!

Thanks to both of you for your comments.

Wow, what a surprise. No problem on the PM Shorty. I knew you were busy last month and if I recall, no reply was necessary since it was a summation on my part.

Like many at the moment, I am enjoying the noise!! :) :) :) I love the flood of levels and I try all of them. Much appreciation to all of you level makers.

I'm also enjoying the noise of the party. I may not read all that is happening any given day but I like knowing everybody is having fun. Now we have the new edition coming up to add to all of the fun and games :)

Personally I've been very busy the past week. I took my daughter to the hospital at 1 AM on Dec.7 and spent the night with her as she almost pushed my new granddaughter into the world. All went well but baby didn't want to come out so a C section finished the job. Wasn't sure whether I would be able to do an all nighter but made it :) I left at noon and finally got to bed at 2.

This is my 8th grandchild. They are all special but this one may be more special for awhile. I may be her Granny Nanny come January when my daughter goes back to work. If so I foresee a new Wonderland player in a few years as she sits on my lap :) :) I just got back to my home last evening which is 2 hours from her. If I do the Nanny thing, I will live in two different spots for awhile.

Have laptop, can travel :)

Happy Holidays all,

Congrats on the new addition :D :D ! Babies are fun! I'm enjoying my 2nd who is 4 mnths old! older brother loves him very much and he is 21 mnths old. Kids are fun, when they allow their parents to get sleep :(

Davidmad, Gen, Amy, Lillian, Shorty and Ohbehave,

Thanks for your thoughts and comments and well wishes.

Gen, I do love technology! :) It's been part of my life seemingly forever. Kids, Pets and Puters reign in my household :)

Amy, I too love kids. I had 5 of my own and 4 of them have had children. I did daycare for two of my grandkids in my home for two years until they moved away a year ago. They loved Wonderland. Two others live not too far and I occasionally have them here. I'm known as Bubble Grandama to them because I have many different kinds of bubble makers :) I do like that they get their parents at night though and I get to sleep :) Except of course when there are sleepovers :)

Lillian, I am making sure I get my rest :) I will be limiting my care to 10 hours so that I can have my free time to relax such as games and or my other joys.

Davidmad, Shorty, thanks for wanting me more on the forums. That may happen again sometime. I was a part time regular when the forum began but daycare and later a computer job kept me coming here mostly as an observer and to download. If I become a Nanny, my time will be more limited. I usually pop in if there is a computer question that somebody hasn't answered yet. It's the least I can do as a thanks to all who make this forum a fun place to be and gazillions of levels :)

I'd like to end this with comments on the levels. When I first started downloading levels, I saved every one because I knew the levels would end sometime and I could then go back and play the old ones when I needed a Wonderland fix.

Was I ever wrong. I'm amazed at the ability of old and new level makers to continually come up with more ideas for levels. I cleared all of my levels to just favorites and have about 750 saved for myself. I have 1200 kid levels saved. And that is just RTW. I have my Classic levels in storage. And soon comes Platinum!!

Thanks to all who have made and make levels and models. You have given to many lives.

Joy, now and through the year,
Ramonda

Thanks, Laura :)

Indeed it is a Merry Christmas for me. Another daughter who had her 3rd in August will be joining us so that the new babies can be enjoyed by the rest of the family. I was able to be with her for two weeks but now I get to see the changes in that new life too.
