I'll try to catch you all up tomorrow.

It's one of the things that make some of the posts interesting is getting off topic. You'll be reading one thing and by the time your finished your reading something entirely different.

Awwww Sweetie Pie, I can’t believe people were so mean to you when you were a child. It sounds like you were just precious! I’m trying to think of another place we can go on our honeymoon. Are they looking for you in Germany? I’ve always wanted to go there, being part German and all.

I found a darling little Chevy Van the other day. I thought it would look great sitting right near the river, in the sand. I wouldn’t have to do very much cleaning at all. You’re not going to believe this, but one of my Yorkies SNORES!!!! She sleeps in my room! (I have to use earplugs!)

My trusted language translator has been on the blink all day long and I can’t look up the word Edit-sorry, the translator works now.

ps. I'm sending you a Private Message. Hope you don't mind.

Dizzy and the rest of the girls.

If it makes you happy;

:D Hi to you everyone :D

And Dizzy, thanks for the pm you sent me, but what do you exactly mean with .......?? Are you quite sure?

As you can see, I've posted 2 little pictures of me. And that brings me to the reason you heard nothing from me the last days. Maybe it's not clear visible on the pictures, but my thumb isn't that much thick as Mahaloof's. For the people who don't speak Dutch I maybe have to explain this. We have an expression in Dutch: Suck something out of your thumb, wich means, tell a wonderful, fantastic and unbelievable story. I'm not sure of the reason, maybe because little children suck on their thumbs and also tell fantastic stories. Anyhow, we say that such a person has a thick thumb.

And when I read something interesting, mostly I can write a few lines about it. But I have to admit that I'm not that creative to think out something completely new. Beside that, I still find it difficult to read English because I'm more like the mathematics type then the languages. At school I only had English because I had to choose at least one strange language

I've seen your photo in the other topic and I guess that you mean that the women on the right, about who you said you don't know, is you? Yes, exactly like Jessica Rabbit (when you think about that the movie is from 1988) 8) 8) 8)

Anyhow, I wish you all a wonderful 2008 and all the other years which will come :D :D :D :D

You are really getting better at your English. If you stay in Wonderland much longer, you will be excellent! :D :D

Seriously, you will love it in this forum and I hope you hurry up and finish the game you are working on, so you can start playing Return to Wonderland Deluxe and start making your own levels! :D If you are good at Math, you will be wonderful at making puzzles.

See you later alligator. :D :D :D 8)

But now you're really that dizzy I had to explain.

I'm not sure how long it takes me to complete WSW because sometimes I play it everyday and other times months not. Actually I like the original more because there are no secrets. I wonder if I'll be good at making own levels for the same reason as I told you in the last post before. But maybe I'll be good at solving someone elses levels, who knows. By th way, did you read my alternative solution in the classic trilogy forum? Or are you not interested in the original wonderland anymore just like most of the people here? However, I like to talk off topic here and at the moment:Nothing else matters 8) 8)

:D Bye :D

P.S. Do you mean that I'm the only person who may call you Jessica? 8)

Yes, you are the only person who may call me Jessica. 8) :D No I haven't read your alternative solution in the classic trilogy forum, but I will tomorrow ok? :D I still have the original wonderland and all of the games from wonderland, on my desktop. There are still a few I could not solve. I was actually looking for 'Alice in Wonderland' when I found Wonderland and I've been happy ever since. :D (Alice in Wonderland is not really a game, I just thought it would be something really fun, if I could find it, but I never did). And I am also beautiful on the inside. :D Just like you, Monica and Robyn. :D

Ok then Jessica :D :D :D

You said there are levels in the original W you couldn't solve? If you want, please tell me about in the classic trilogy forum.

As a matter of fact I wasn't looking for something special but I saw Wonderland and at first I thougt it was something like a fairytale/fable just like you did. But when I saw it was really about logic, I decided to buy it.

Now at the moment I don't know what to say more. (I di'dn't see the movie yet  )

Bye

Aww, I missed you too, my ipsy tipsy little Strawberry Cheesecake!

I had to do a bit of research, because of the mention of your Yorkie(s).
Now, Germany is a wonderful and beautiful country, of course, full of wonderful and beautiful people. I know this one man somewhere around Oberhausen, called Heinz, according to many many drooling women a gorgeous man. He's an ex-priest (I don't know the exact story here, but apparently God tried to prove Heinz didn't exist, and that ended the romance right there).

Anyway, the Yorkies do pose a problem, dear, as the rumour turned out to be true: only German-barking dogs are allowed. That means German Shepherds are OK, and Boxers (well, they look German), and Dachshunden too (well, they sound German) but Yorkies are definitely a NO. Besides, they look too effeminate anyway. In Bavaria, they have Yorkies for breakfast.
And even if you'd have Shepherds, you need a Barking License for them and that can take months. Don't even think about Barking Lessons!

A strange rule, yes? But then, every country has its peculiarities. In Britain, people have bacon 'n sausages for breakfast. In Holland, that's illegal (about the only thing illegal over here). But that's neither here nor there. It seems the whole movie synchronisation business in Germany started with this law. The film "Lassie come home" featured an English-barking Collie. To solve that problem, they dubbed the whole flick in German. People liked it so much that from that moment on every movie got synchronized. So nowadays, young kids watch Laurel & Hardy being called 'Dick und Doof'. (Tis true!) Imagine Ollie talking in the mirror: "Ich hab nur zwei wörter für dich: Un-möglich!"
Strange, nah?

Still, even now that Germany has become academic, I asked about taking my pet camel Sandy with me. They said 'Kein Problem' aber it has to be on a leash all the time. Eh? A leash?? My poor Sandy! We go for walkies in the woods. We play fetch together every day. Sandy chucks the ball away with her nose and I run after it. Yes, it used to be the other way around, until the day came when I accidentally threw the ball way up onto the highway above. Sandy chased after it and her appearance up there created the biggest chain crash in Dutch history. 212 cars, 17 trucks and 3 Chevy Vans were involved. Of course, the first few drivers claimed to have seen a camel. They ended up paying for all the damage.
Sandy was unharmed, phew! but we had to buy a new ball...

Anyway...
We'll think of some other destination, dear. A nice country with a river with a bit of sand next to it. That rules out Kazakhstan: lots of rivers, no sand.

PS: I'm fine with Marinus calling you Jessica, as I know you're actually named Esmeralda.... :D :D

Sandy was certainly house trained. At first I had this litterbox in the trailer. But as a camel is not a cat, and Sandy is quite a big girl, I finally moved the Sahara outside. I do miss having her on my lap while I'm reading a book. But in summer she sticks her head through the livingroom window and whispers sweet nothings in my ear...
Where have you been? Were you finally arrested?
No, mein liebchen. I wanted to check out the German dog situation myself. I can't leave Sandy behind and I certainly don't want to put her on a leash. So we rode to the village of Half-Halb. It lies exactly on the border between Holland and Germany. In fact, the border runs right through the mayors house. Henk lives with a German wife, Gertrud. She is wonderful and beautiful, and she bakes the best Kartoffel pastries in all of Half-Halb. Tragically, the different laws running through the house seriously disturbed and finally broke up their marriage. :( To give one example, Henk's dog Parbleu, a French poodle, is not allowed in the German part of the house. Gertrud very much enjoys zze English breakfast with bacon und sausages. But as that is one of the few illegal things in Holland, she always has to eat in the German kitchen, while the dining room is Dutch. And then there are the different Tax matters...
Life is simpler now. They are good friends, each occupies one half / ein halb of the house and they hug and kiss in the middle. Gertrud takes care of food and kitchen stuff, as shopping is a bit cheaper in Germany. Henk buys Dutch desserts for Gertruds family by the truckload. As they are so full of artificial flavours and colour (the desserts, not the family) they are illegal in Germany. So they smuggle the stuff through the cellar...

But all this is not the point right now. I visited Henk to ask how strict the dog laws are in Germany. He told me how Parbleu was caught once on the German side, having a noise contest with Schnauzer, the neighbours Dachshund. The fine was reasonable, but they also took Parbleu's bark away for a year. He convinced me that seeing your pet starting with not a single sound emerging is really a distressing experience. Not in the least for Parbleu herself. It took her months to get used to it and when, a year later, she got her bark back, Parbleu almost gave herself a heart attack...

I’ve always wanted to go there, being part German and all.
Oh yes, I've been wanting to ask you, my sweet popsicle. I'm part Chinese myself. It's like this: because of my flatfeet, I use these orthopedic shoe soles. They're made in Shanghai. I've been using them ever since I can remember, so they feel like a part of me, see?

So which part of you is German?? :D :D

Sweet Peapie, I can't tell you in front of all these people. I could show you though!

Seriously; my great-great-grandfather came from Germany and was German (I'm more German than any of the following...), my great-great-grandmother was from France and was a French woman. (not a poodle) I'm also Dutch and English, but I'll need to go into the restroom and look around at myself, to figure that part out.

Why is all this important anyway???

Oh, as you know, Wonderlanders are such sweet and understanding people. I'm sure if we ask them NOT to read your small print telling me which part of you is German, all of our Wondernutters will respect our privacy, my little tootsiewootsie.
I could show you though!
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D An even better idea! Just make a little film with your mobile phone, dear, put it on YouTube, and then translate the exact address here in Dutch, so only I will be able to get to it! :D (And Marinus perhaps, but he's a discreet guy.... 8) )
Tell you what: as a warm-up to our marriage I will join you on YouTube with a little film of my orthopedic shoe soles...:D :D :D
Why is all this important anyway???
It gives such a nice global feeling, Dizzywizzy. As we are all one great big family in Wonderland, it's a neat idea to have a teensie weensie bit of everyone here, don't you think? In fact, today I have some more Chinese in me, as I had Foo Yong Hai for dinner. Yum yum!
