gone for awhile

I've got to go to Oklahoma and I'm not sure when I'll be back. As some of you know I went to OK in Dec. for a couple of weeks to stay with my dad. He was at the time diagnosed with lung cancer and now the cancer has spread and their's nothing left the doctor's can do so my sisters and I are going to clean out his house and get him moved to Arkansas where my one sister lives. We've got a big undertaking ahead of us. They only expect him to live another 3-4 months and he doesn't need to be alone. thank goodness for hospice, they've been a big help.

So my wonderland friends I bid you adieu for awhile, but I'll be back, just not sure when.

Sorry to hear this news Monica. I went through the same thing with my father, only we took him out of the hospice and I nursed him at home. I know how hard it is but try and enjoy your time with him as much as you can. It will always be a special time for you to remember, I promise you that.

These must be hard times. Both of my grandmothers died from cancer, but it was before I was born, so I never met them. Best wishes to you and your family.

Thanks everyone. Cancer is a nasty disease for sure. Well were leaving about midnight tonight, going to try to beat the winter weather that's supposed to happen. You all take care.
