Dear Wonderlanders

If you dont see much activity from me, it is no reflection on any of you at all.

We just received some more harsh news about my family. My sister who is only a year older than me, fell two days ago and broke some bones in her neck. At last report, she has feeling in her extremities. So it is hopeful although right now I am very sad and dont have much energy.

My husband and I had planned to head north in early July to visit everyone in both our families. So I will not be around at all during July and part of August. (edit)

You are all so caring and wonderful

My sister Bonnie got out of surgery around nine pm last night. I was fortunate enough to get to talk to her and she sounded really good

although a bit groggy, as can be expected. And today, a couple of my other siblings spoke with her on the phone too. Looks like she is going to recover physically just fine.

I will post again in another week perhaps.

I believe in the power of positive energy as well as in Prayer. You have all been very kind and I appreciate it more than I can express.

Happy Memorial Day Everyone and Belated Happy Victoria Day

You have all been so thoughtful during my family crises that I wanted you to know, my sister Bonnie did get released from the hospital. Has been getting rested up all weekend. That was a big surprise when they let her go so soon. And the better news for her is that she is turning this near tragedy into a postive move forward in her life and is making some major changes for the better.

Dad is doing great. A physical therapist visits with him at their home a few times a week. This gives my step Mom a much needed break too. So all is well.
