Breaking the record: PLEASE READ

i have a plan to break the sites record of the most people online at one time so i want to ask you what time we should all go online to try to beat this record or if we should
post any times or ideas on how or when to do it here xD hope we break the record

I know how the record we have now came.

The site was down for a few days/weeks and soon after it was back on a glitch caused it to say there are 100+ people who have visited this site at the same time. (I wasn't here at the time but I've looked at old posts and they seems to relate to what I'm saying.)

Interesting, isn't it?

Or maybe the site was down so long that loads of people wanted to get on it so they were all on at the same time!

What about April 11, 2008 at 7:48 (London time) At that time, it is 1:48 in the afternoon here in Central America, so everyone should still be awake at the same time. But then, that will be a Friday night and lots of Londoners might be out on the town.

Maybe a weekday would be best.

Whenever you decide...I'm 'in'.

(or was it really just a glitch, with the 129?)

but 7:48 in your time is 1:48 am in my time (on Saturday) and I think that
I can't stay until that time(orelse I just open my computer and gotosleep)
and I think Boppelist, sewel5, tyteen4a03 have to sleep that time too or we don't have to sleep that day

Sometimes I can stay up late. REALLLLLLY late. Until about 4am. I usually sleep at about 12 to 1 am at school nights. I stay up the latest at weekends. The last thing I do before bed is check the forum.

Leaving the forum page open while you sleep probably won't work...that number shows members "active" over the last 5 minutes.

Good idea though. My thinking is that there are around 80-100 folks that download levels from our more popular creators. Then there are all the folks in the WA area of the forum as well. I would think that it would be possible but not easy to get a load of folks on all at the same time.

I have to wonder too what that will do to the forum server

Will it freak out and kick us all out?

I'm in though if ya all can decide a time. Central time in America is now 5 hours behind London time GMT -5 in your profile choices. Eastern time in America is -4 and so on. Hong Kong is +8 hours GMT etc. So if you all can figure out a time that we are all up and available to be online that might be kinda fun! Good luck with that though ....gives me a headache just tryin' to figure it out

If GMT = 12:00
Central time in America GMT -5: 7:00

Eastern time GMT -4: 8:00

Thailand! GMT+7: 19:00

HongKong GMT+8: 20:00

Your exactly right Bopp....tyteen I'm not even sure of what you are trying to say but it doesn't seem correct to me at all.

So GMT 12:00 (noon) seems to be a decent time. Although folks on the West coast here in the USA would be looking at 5am....we have at least one West coaster that I know of. But heck like someone said, we can try.

So in America it's still Saturday 20:00 or something around that time

In Asia it's Sunday morning something around 08:00

In Australia it's almost Sunday 12:00

My time is the exact same as rescuefire Robyn's time. I usually wake up at 5 a.m. so this is perfect.
