Free Games on weekends

Did y'all know that on weekends Giveaway of The Day gives games away too? They used to give them away every day but now it's just on weekends.

Anyway, someone mentioned a game on here called Theseus and the Minotaur and it's free today.

Yea, I think Mark post that website a long time ago, but I haven't been there in awhile. They also give away free software if you check over there in the right hand corner. Only thing is you have to install it then and if you uninstall it the license is no good if you want to reinstall. I've gotten several neat games but all I ever really play is this one and a free one called carioca rummy I got from microsoft.

Yeah, Mark mentioned this a long time ago. I used to go every day but the games all looked the same. It only seems to have similar-looking, mediocre games, in my opinion.

True Theo some are the same. Yep Mark is the one that turned me on to this site. I go to their daily software giveaway site every day. Same thing there, many of the same things over and over again.

I have found some SUPER little programs though and as far as I'm concerned if they are giving it away free then what's there to complain about?! It's helpful to read comments and research the programs a bit before you download though.

I don't think that GAOTD has "bad downloads" I think it's the companies that submit their software to them that have the problems.

I mostly brought this up because of another forum member mentioning that game Theseus and the Minotaur and on that particular day it was free.

I don't work for these people and I'm not promoting the site I'm mentioning it to anyone who may be interested. That simple.

Good point... but McAfee siteadviser rated this page red... for me.

Anyway, it was really funny i saw this on june 1st and it was the game i was looking for... today i looked and it was the program i needed.

Are they mind-readers or something?

LOL Toon wouldn't that be cool?! I'm looking for a full version of Fraps and they haven't featured that one yet.

I'm not sure why your virus protection is flagging the site unless it has something to do with your settings and how sensitive they are to cookies or stuff like that.

I always right click and scan anything before I download it anyway and I haven't ever had a problem with anything from their site.

I've never had any problems with any of their software or games either. Every once in ahile they have something that's worth trying. I'm like Robyn, I always read what everyone else has to say about it.
