Linux/Sokoban/KAtomic

Post by janellesnip » Sun Oct 04, 2009 6:06 am

Dear Wonderlanders.
I have not been on Wonderland for a very, very long time, since my ASUS computer died and I have been on Linux ever since. Recently, I have switched over to Linux Mint and have just discovered a game based on sokoban on it. The game is called KAtomic. You get a "gameboard" with blocks all over it and with "ions" to put together to create atoms. I guess it could be useful to someone studying chemistry. Anyway, it is a great time-killer when you don't have Stinky around to entertain you. I think KAtomic is available in most linux distributions.

I don't have Linux because I don't have space for Linux, but that game sounds fun.

Maybe I will try Vitural Machine.

PS: WonderLinux

There's a Windows version of "Atomic" available somewhere.

The game is extremely fun, but not very useful for learning chemistry. At least one (maybe more) molecules were wrong from what I remember.
Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.
