Have you guys seen this?
I've been waiting 16 years for a sonic game like this to come out. And now it's just over the horizon, and I'm salivating for it. And you should be too!

I'm going to actually cut and paste what I said on Sonic Retro about this:

So. Sonic 4.

I've been thinking about this for the past few days, and while I'm not really sure if I'll buy it or not, seeing Super Sonic flying through Mad Gear Act 3 made me smile like nothing else has this year.

It'd be nice to see Hidden Palace in HD for Episode 2, but that's pretty unlikely. I'm hoping for some original badniks/stages as well.

When it comes down to it, I think it's going to be a fun game. It won't be the Sonic 4 that's better than Sonic 3 & Knuckles, if such a thing could exist, but I do think that provided Sega/Dimps puts their all into it for Episode 2, it could stand up to Sonic 1 or 2.

Maybe.

EDIT: Sega failed at data containment again - By sometime next week, I'll have a fully solid opinion on Sonic 4. Once I get my 360 fixed, thanks to the power of the internet, I'll be able to play an earlier version.

Don't ask me for a link to where I got it or for me to send it to you. I'm using this because I want to compare the final to the early version later on, not to share it.

Shocking Twist! Big Sonic 4 Announcement on the Horizon?!

... Yeah I dunno.

Sega's been revealing next to nothing about the game since the prototype and video leaks. Apparently, this thursday, we'll get something "very big" and "very good". Also, the "blackouts will begin to make sense".

I think that it'll live up to its name (seriously counting the factors here [dimps]). I've seen basically the whole game, and it's promising so far. It'll be fun for a long (or not so long) time. At least Sega even started making it; that means it must be better than... recent Sonic 2006, looks on you D:< games.

Even if it's not very good, hey, we have Super Mario Galaxy 2 to entertain us.
