R34LITY SURR34L -- found this on YouTube

Post by Muzozavr » Wed Jun 30, 2010 9:04 am

I just found awesome.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eeqgxgCXSxc

Their goal was apparently to create weird short horror and THEY SUCCEEDED. This is weird, atmospheric and creepy in ways that remind me of Marble Hornets. It creates a "nothing happens... but something might..." feeling.

The camera quality is not that great, since this WAS a zerobudget film -- you'll forget about it FAST.

IMO, a must watch for everyone who likes weird short horror. Freaked me out nicely.
Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

Very weird. I am not a huge fan of the "nothing happens, but something might..." style you spoke of, but I found this more interesting than Marble Hornets. I really liked the music/FX in the video. They reminded me of Yume Nikki.

Have I mentioned Yume Nikki before? It's like the "nothing happens, but something might..." of computer games, and you'd probably love it, Muzozavr.

(Eh, I'm going to make a topic for Yume Nikki now, and not start a discussion here)

Let's just make this a place for short low-budget/zero-budget films we find on YouTube... because I found a great one.

The Perfect Ones (part 1 of 5)

The other parts you can easily find in "related videos".
