Off topic: bus drivers are more "jerky".
One time in Grade 7 it was the first month of school and my bus driver home made a correct way back to my house a few times. One time she took a trail that she thaught was faster but took me far from my house because there was my friend's house on the same road as me a few blocks down. But still...

What? Every letter including vowels have their own sound that can be made into a few other letters. The only exception is "W", which is just "double-u".billy bob wrote:I just realized that "J" is pointless too. "J" is just "D" and then "Sh". Except the "Sh" sounds a little different, but that should have its own letter or combination of letters.
I think you were making a dshoke, didn't you? Delete one letter of the alphabet, and then making a new one? Also, it may be in English, but maybe not in French, German, Dutch etc..... Or do you want each language to have their own letters, like Chinese, Arabian, Russian or Hebrew? That would be even more confusing isn't it?

I think you misunderstood my post. I was talking about the sound of the letter "J" being "D" and "Sh" but the "Sh" being slightly different than normal.Qloof234 wrote:What? (Now there are four unnecessary letters: X Q C J.)

So it seems. Now that I think about it though, how would you write the "ch" sound without a C? I am a little bit confounded.~xpr'd~ wrote:But C really is useless. There's two other letters that make the exact same sounds it does. There is no point for it.

I think the "ch" in headache, or chaos, can be replaced by a K. In some other words the "ch" can be replaced by "tsh": Tshicago, Greenwitsh etc.
However, the "ch" in Scheveningen (Dutch) and München (German) are two more different pronouncings, which are probably not used in English.
But the Y is such a strange letter, sometimes a vowel and sometimes a consonant, we should abandon it. And I agree that the Q and X are not really needed, so we can abandon them too.
(Which means that Theo X, QLoof and Xprd have a little problem)

It is.
I'd really rather not post the over-100000-letter-long name for milk protein. XD

Well, it seems you're right although it's the question if it's considered a real word or not.
However, I'd rather post a link: http://sarahmcculloch.appliedgeekery.co ... -word.html and call it: Titin.
