Snow on Christmas Day

Post by popo » Sat Dec 25, 2004 10:00 am

A Very Merry Christmas Day to everyone. Hope Santa brought you all what you wanted. I've just got up to find it's snowing, the first white Christmas for years.

Now it's time to get on with the Christmas lunch. :D :D :D

Well as every Dane knows: Christmas was yesterday (Dec 24th) and I did have a white Christmas. Today it's raining hard and all the snow is gone, but that's fine by me since I'm not a big snow fan.

Merry Christmas everyone :D (Even to you weidoes who celebrates a day too late    )

Merry Christmas to all.

Finally above zero today. 3F as a matter of fact. Light snow, no wind.....
a beautiful Christmas morning. The gang will be here around noon. Then pandimonium will reign.
Have a great day.

It's stopped snowing now and none of it settled. :( Not a white Christmas after all. In fact the sun's trying to come out. I doubt if it'll reach 72 deg though, Malc.

Merry Christmas from London. Popo - the snow is on its way down south I hope! Mind you, we have to go out to a party later, so I hope it is not too severe

My boys have had a wonderful day so far!!! They didn't wake up till 7.30am so that wasn't too bad

I am drunk on my mothers' xmas pudding - it would blow anyone's head off it is so full of booze

Have a great day everyone  Hope Santa made all your wishes come true.

Love Lillie

Merry Christmas to all! Thanks for all the fun all year! We had a very nice Christmas even though there has been a steady rain and the temperature is holding in the low 50's. It definitely isn't a sunny Florida Christmas. But we don't let that dampen our spirits! :D

Happy Christmas, Everyone.

All this talk of SNOW. Corpus Christi in South Texas received 4-6 inches of snow, an almost unheard of occurance. It's the first white christmas on record down here, and the most snow ever, accumulative over all the years, since 1887. Our neighbours tell me it hasn't snowed here in 15 years. We move here, and this is what happens

Got out nice and early and took pictures before all the neighbours got up and spoiled it. We live almost on the coast and overlooking a small lake. It was beautiful.

Even got a picture of one of the squirrels in the bird's seed feeder with snow on his nose. He seemed to be looking so surprised.

I have the same luck, wherever I go on holiday you can bet it will rain, even if it hasn't rained for months. If I went to the Sahara desert it would rain.

I'd love to see some of those pictures, I love the look of the snow before it's been walked on, and the way it makes everything sound so quiet, like you're the only one left on the planet. :D
