Qookie & Emily update

Well, Qookie has been rather quite since our return from Denver, in fact haven't heard much from her. ( Must have been tired from the travel)

Anyway, she's back and we all had a trip to the Mall ( hubby's birthday on Thur.) ya, know that little stinker has expensive taste, I had purchased a new watch for hubby, Emily picked out a nice book and Qookie decided hubby needed Godiva Chocolate!!!!!!

Now I don't recall ever being in that shop in my life ( with or without Emily ) so I'm kinda wondering how Qookie knew of this exquisite little shop

Emily had her 1st swim lesson this evening and apparently Qookie also signed up, so we needed to purchase swim wear for Qookie, we had to purchase this from some trendy childs boutique (once again I've not been in)

I was happy to discover she and Emily are the same size so Qookie now has the cutiest Hot Pink suit I've ever seen

Qookie has gotten over her previous dislike of splashing water and she did very well in fact she kind of "bobs" around alot

I do enjoy Qookie and Emily's adventures, and I hope you all do too, but I'm not too sure I can indulge her taste very often.

I love Qookie's hilarious adventures with Emily. I can see Emily has discovered the advantages of Qookie being a girl - clever little minx! Watch out, it looks like Qookie is an expensive lady to keep up with.

Having wee ones is a adventure all on it's own.

Yes, I too am glad Qookie had that "change" from he to she in Denver. I'm also glad to dicover she and Emily are the same size. ( I would have thought Qookie was much smaller) I don't mind the small expensive items, but I think I'll have to draw the line when it comes time for cars and college.

I do wonder where the influance of expensive taste is coming from.

Love the stories Laura. I think you could write a book for kids. The Adventures of Emily and Qookie. Certainly keep us updated.

Yes, well, she'll need to curb things just a little bit; she needs to remember she's already 137 bucks in the red with the Bank of Bearsland.
