Hi Mette and DKgiz. That sounds wonderful, but you should have had my eye surgeon. He didn't seen concerned about me reading and computering - what he did say was that shouldn't do anything strenous for
two weeks following surgery, and that included cutting the grass and the dreaded H-word (for you DK, that means "housework" ! ! ! ! !). And remember, I had each eye done seperately, two weeks apart so that meant
one whole month of rest and relaxation
It was wonderful while it lasted, but it's just about over now. In fact I did my share of the grass cutting yesterday with our temperature well into the mid 90Fs and heat indices about 115F. Very much too hot. If I had three eyes, now would be a good time to have that one done as well.
I, like most mothers, always told my daughter I had eyes in the back of my head, and one day she was searching through my hair, looking for them. Now if
I could just find them, I'd be able to see well in all directions,
and have another month's vacation

. I'm going to the hospital tomorrow to have my eyes fixed (LASIK) 
. We have to leave very early tomorrow (6.30 AM) 
, so this is the last time I check in being very myopic 
. I'm not allowed to read for 2-3 days after the procedure
