Another Emily & Qookie adventure

Post by laura n. » Sat Jul 23, 2005 12:47 pm

If you remember I wrote in a previous post that Qookie had finally returned to my house & brought a friend, named Clemma (still don't know where Clemma is from :? ) Anyways I've been informed this morning that Clemma is 16 & has a car of her own  . BTW this car has it's own bathroom :o ) Well, as I write this Clemma is on her way to our house to pick up Qookie & Puegee, and today they're going on some sort of adventure.
I just hope Clemma doesn't deside to let Qookie OR Puegee drive.... I don't think they can see over the steering wheel.

I can hardley wait to get home from work to get an update on their adventure

Hope everyone has a GREAT day in Wonderland :!: :!: :D :D :D :D

Well, I'm a little concerned , Clemma hasn't brought the stinkers home yet.
All I know is they took off this morning to go shopping  and their 1st stop was going to be the Wal*Mart store. When I asked Emily why she didn't go she said " there wasn't enough room ALL the stinkers came"
I'll bet wonderland is a little desolate today. :(
And, sorry Sharon I asked Emily what color Clemma's car was and she said " it's a very special car & it's all the colors" 8)

I hope Clemma doesn't have a lead foot like I do... ya know the Bank of Bearsland has been closed and there's nobody to pay the fine.

I know it's not customary to pull up threads as old as this, but if you read on you'll find out why I've decided to do so.

I was talking to a friend online last night & they reminded me of the "sweet Emily & Qookie" stories I use to share on this board. That simple statement has weighted on my mind all night. Not for the fact that Emily has grown up & Qookie isn't around much anymore (because Qookie is still a playmate) but because of how much this board has changed in such a short time (note original date of this thread).

In five short months, this board has undergone a complete change that I find very sad. The dissension & seperations are so horrific I don't believe this board will ever go back to the "fun loving" place it once was. When I first discovered this place I "lurked" for awhile. I read all of your posts & found the people here to be warm, friendly, funny & very inviting. (which is unual for a internet forum) It was a place I wanted to spend time on. I find it disheartening that other new people don't get that same "warm fuzzy" feeling I was so delighted to find.

This is not intended to point fingers at anybody or "stir" up the pot, it is just simply an observation that was so eloquently pointed out to me.

Now with that being said..... Here's an update on the Life of Qookie in my home. :D

Qookie has a new sister, her name is Alee & suprisingly Alee is older than Qookie. (I'm not sure what happened to Clemma :? )
Qookie & Alee ride to school everyday with Emily, but stay in the car to protect it from the bad guys :? Emily tell's both of them all about her day on the ride home, & sometimes they play a game of "I spy colors".
It's pretty funny listening to Emily take turns for all of them   & even funnier if I interupt when Qookie or Alee are talking. I get told I'm being rude, that it's Qookies/Alees turn to talk. ( I'm glad I've taught my daughter manners :D )

The other morning Alee was off somewhere having a baby   and it was going to be a "little tiny baby I couldn't see" I think I've played into this for so long Emily thinks I can see her imaginary friends :? :D Alee has not returned from her delivery as of yet.

I no longer have to feed Qookie or buy her clothes, but when Emily plays tea party or picnic she sets places for them & they all eat & drink Gold Fish crackers & juice.

My niece (Kati) as also joined in the world of imaginary friends & brings her friend Buster over occasionally to play. It gets really humorus when Qookie, Alee, & Buster won't share their toys. I believe my sister has had to put all three in "time out"

Oh the joys of a young childs mind, I wish we could all have our imaginary friends & not get sent to the "asylum"

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year everyone. :D

Hi Laura,

I always like your way of telling those little stories.

I'm curious. Is Emily having X-mas presents for Qookie and Alee - or is it you who has to buy some :?: :D
