Introducing Katie

Post by bwana50 » Sun Jul 24, 2005 8:35 pm

Hi to all our new Wonderland friends...

I just thought I'd share why I can't get through the new Wonderland game very quickly ... I keep having to rescue Katie from the top of the climber... she goes UP really well, but can't seem to master DOWN... the only thing we've found that she is afraid of is a slide...

Very beautiful little girl, Andria! :D Don't worry she'll learn down very quickly. My daughter was a climber as well. Once she managed to climb a ladder my neighbor had left against a tree. She got past the missing rung (that's why he thought it was safe to leave against the tree) and was standing in the tree 20 feet up, yelling "Look at me, Daddy!"  I'm just so glad I wasn't out there then. I would have paniced!
I'm sure she'll learn the fun of sliding very soon, too. :D

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Wonderland
You'll find some really nice, but a little kookie people here
Your daughter is a real cutie. Is Katie short for Kaitlyn? That's my nieces name, we call her Katie for short or worse Moo her nick name ... poor kid she'll hate that when she's older

Have fun.

Her name is actually Katherine Elizabeth... I wanted Kaitlyn, but Daddy likes Catherine Zeta-Jones  no, really, he just thought it was a cooler name. Her nickname is "Boo" or "Boo Boo" or "Katie-bug" or "Sweet Pea"... poor thing doesn't know who the heck she is!

She is mastering the DOWN thing pretty well. Daddy showed her how to turn around and go down the slid on her tummy last weekend, and that is working for her... now she tries to go down the basement steps to get to her toys when I forget to shut the door... he's created a monster...

Thanks for the nice welcome... I think we are going to like it here!
