Orbs of Gettysburg

Here are picture's of Orbs I got at "Devils Den" a battlefield at gettysburg. Took pictures for awhile, got nothing , finally these showed up. Some people think that Orbs are related to ghosts. Some say they are just balls of energy. What do you say?

I quite like them though - I believe they are fairys' spawn

I've taken hundreds of photos with this camera and this is the first time this has ever happened. They say acre for acre Gettysburg is the most haunted place in America, TAPS, Is one of my favorite shows as well. TAPS-(The Atlantic Paranormal Society) I think. My lens was very clean. And not all my pics had Orbs in them. At this site it was pitch black and I was snapping random photos, I could barely see my truck when I took that Picture. Right after I took the picture with my sister she said something flew past her head and then we saw all the Orbs in the picture around her right after. That was a spooky moment.

May be it was a bat. ghost don't like there pictures taken. But it is a scary

kiki, those are great pictures, I believe they're spirits, as I also believe spirits are all around us. In fact I could tell you all about the spirit I shared a house with for about 2 years, but then you'd all thinks I was really NUTS not just a nutter

Hi Laura. Having had what I think were Paranormal experiences, I wouldn't think you were nuts at all there is some spooky stuff going on in the world to much if you ask me to just ignore. These are my first Orb pictures now I want to get more I guess I'm totally intrigued.

They look like dust fairies to me, and I should know I have millions in my house.

Are you sure they aren't fire flies, or tiny moths reflecting the light? They could be spores from some plant there that reproduce at night. There is probably a very ordinary explanation for it.

Hi Popo, If it were fireflies they would be in focus and also it isn't the season for them. It was a clear night with no dust in the air and not all my photos had the Orbs in them, I'm not the first person to get these kind of pictures from this same area, Considering how many men died on this spot in 1863 who knows??? And if you have that many dust fairies your house is either haunted or you need to clean your house. Anyway as I stated above I've taken hundreds of pictures with the same camera and never had this happen.

I'm with you Kiki .. I've seen orbs on TV, paranormal shows etc, but never so many as your photos. Must be quite eerie to look at your photos knowing you were right there

I went on a ghost hunt at Camp Nelson recently and was able to catch some very unusual stuff on camera, These pictures were taken without using a flash and facing some trees in total darkness, The site is a mass grave where hundreds maybe thousands of refugees were buried during the civil war, The grave site was rediscovered in 2003 by cadaver dogs at Camp Nelson outside of Lexington.

Those orbs are everywhere

Even in the deserts of Egypt! There is even a ring of lights following Oliver

When he asked me what the lights were, I told him it was his grandad coming down from heaven as an angel watching over him

Wouldn't that be so lovely if it were true

In all honesty, I presume the orbs are just dust caught in the camera flash - but it was pitch black in the desert so I have no clue what those light are (cue spooky music

)

Those tiny lights are illuminated methane gas that has just escaped from that camel's backside!!! Or the reflected retinas of a hundred flies all making a beeline for the said backside!!:lol:
