House cleaning tips.

Post by laura n. » Thu Oct 13, 2005 8:15 pm

I've found a short cut for cleaning the kitchen floor. I think this only works if you have small children or very sloppy hubbys.

First, remove shoes & socks, to work succesfully you must be barefoot.

Second, find ALL the "sticky" spots on the floor, After locating All the sticky spots start walking across them repeatedly in your barefeet, until your feet have become coated with the sticky mess that was on your kitchen floor.

Third, find all the toast, cracker, cookie or whatever crumbs lurking around the rest of the floor, now walk repeatedly over the crumbs with your sticky feet, thus picking them up off the floor.

Once floor is cleaned to your satisfaction, simply rinse bottoms of feet in kitchen sink.

This method of cleaning, eliminates all brooms, dust pans, mops, buckets & scrubing pads. With your extra time you can give yourself a pedicure after rinsing your feet in the sink.

You could always get the cat/dog to lick your feet clean too - then you don't even have to put the tap on or dirty a towel :o :P

Never thought of that Lillie, but that would require having a dog/cat which could bring a whole new method cleaning.
