EhOh everyone. Thanks for all the birthday wishes, I'm 52 now. 
Soon be drawing my pension. 
Got a new computer now. Mine could have been mended but by the time I'd paid for all the bits and the labour it made more sense to get a new one. Only trouble is now I have to reinstall all my software and hardware and get all my data off my old hard drive. I bought an external drive enclosure and had my old hard drive put into it so I can just plug it in a USB port and retrieve it all. That's the theory anyway.
The first thing was to get my internet connection back and my printer working, everything else can be done at a leisurely pace.
It will take me ages to get everything back to normal, so for anyone who I'm making models for please be patient with me. I didn't realise how much stuff I had on my pc until it wasn't there.
When I look back on this last few days in a week or two it will seem funny, but right now I'm surprised I've got any hair left. I'm the only computer literate person in our house and I know nowt, so it's all been a bit desperate. I'm starting to feel better now though, as long as everything keeps going ok, and all my programs install and don't start playing silly bu****s. I think Aunty Mo thought I had dropped dead when I wasn't anwering emails and things.
Anyway, normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.
