437LIZM - Boating in the Bluebells

Next in the bluebell series, and still using the same texture.

Probably full of loopholes, but I hope you enjoy it. :D :D

Liz, I think I need a bit of help getting started. I have an idea, I think I need to go to the boulders in the upper left first but don't know what to do when I get there.

:D :D :D Truly one of the most brilliant travelator puzzles I have seen.
I'm very proud to have solved it, I was stuck on where that one box went in the right side area, DOH!
It sure came in handy, Talk about off the map Liz, My head would be spinning if I tried to design this one.
Thanks for the fun matey, Carry on! :D :D :D

Congratulations Keeks! You are an ACE level solver as well as the King of level makers.
:D 8) :D

This level started out as a design concept, and then I had to see if I could get various coins. The level went through lots of evolutions before it hit the Forum. The main thing to remember is that you are creating new ways around the level all the time, by opening gates or pushing boxes in the water. You don't ride the rafts everywhere. Sometimes you walk and sometimes you jump to bring the second raft back to the first.

Hint to get started:
This needs a bit of timing - as soon as a boulder hits the right side conveyor, tramp right, raft up to grab bonus coin and quickly down. Both boulders land in the water there to make the first bridge. Then ride left and up. Collect the coins off the ice before proceeding up on the next raft.
Hint for top left boulder room:
Step up onto the island, push boulder left and quickly step up to push the other boulder up. Now push that first boulder up and left onto the blue button. Push the top boulder left and step down quickly. Push lowest boulder into water, and follow with the second boulder, using the last bridge tile.

Ace puzzle Lizzie! :D

Had some timing issues trying to get that bonus coin above the right raft but after I got that worked out it was just another two dozen restarts working out the bridge layouts.

Thanks again,

Long journey is right, I've worked on this one, on and off since you posted. I knew where I needed to go just took a bit to get there. I had the biggest problem with getting the coins down the bottom sides  and even got rid of that pesky bottie once

Truly an exceptional puzzle thru and thru, thank you for this ace puzzling challenge :D :P :D :P

Is the ice cube used for anything, I can't see anyway to get to it. I can't figure out how to get to the coins in the water either. Also is the one box used to keep the bottie going over the timer or is there another use for it. I think I'm doing the goobs right, they just stick to gether...right? I need a lot of help on this one.

In the way I did it Monica....Nope, you will when you find a way to get the boxes in the water, Yep & Nope, Right :D

Just answerin' yer questions BUT remember those answers are true in the way I did it. Probably not the intended way, cuz I seem to screw things up a bit

Actually I just put the ice cube there (on an X tile) so that you could see there was an ice curve and gate above it. My first design had double height walls and I didn't think that was fair. Now I think about it, it would probably have been better to use a sunken wall.

I'll post a Walkthrough tomorrow. 8)

I am really struggling with this one Lizzie - could I have a few small hints please - like where to go first and what to do with all those boulders  I got as far as getting the bottie over the timer, but when I did the top boulder part by the ice cube - the bottie keeps dying :( I have a feeling I am doing it all wrong!

Help please when you have time :D

EDIT: I DID IT!!!!!!

Flipping hell Lizzie - is this the right way (see screenie) - it tooks me hours and hours ya stinker!

ACE level - well done and thanks I think

Lillie - thanks for sticking with it, and well done. It is quite a stinker.
Your bridge solution is just slightly different from mine.

So here's the walkthrough for anyone else who's interested:

WALKTHROUGH
1. This needs a bit of timing - as soon as a boulder hits the right side conveyor, tramp right, raft up to grab bonus coin and quickly down. Both boulders land in the water there to make the first bridge. Then ride left and up. Collect the coins off the ice before proceeding up on the next raft.

2. Step up onto the island, push boulder left and quickly step up to push the other boulder up. Now push that first boulder up and left onto the blue button. Push the top boulder left and step down quickly. Push lowest boulder into water, and follow with the second boulder, using the last bridge tile.
Image
3. Push box 1 into water. Walk down the right side of the z-bot area and when safe push box 2 right, down, right into water. Then push box 3 down to the wall and stand left of it. As soon as the z-bot goes right, push the box after it to trap it in the timer room.

4. Cross bridge 1 and slide onto raft at #7. Ride down, right and up to the boulder bridge. Step onto the conveyor and tramp left and up to land in the top area. Slide right across the ice curve to push the boulder, and step up quickly. The boulder comes back to the green button. Collect the second coin and ride the raft down and right, collecting the coins off the ice.

5. Go through the open green gate. Push the pink cube down to activate the gen and cover the pink button. Collect coin off ice and push box 4 left, stepping down quickly. Push it into the water at 4. Now you don't want to trap your raft, so ride it left and down beside box 5. Push box 5 down and repeat process as for #4, to finish the bridge up. Cross the bridge and push box 6 up into the water.

6. Ride the top raft down and step on the lower raft. Ride it left and walk through the open gates of the z-bot area. Walk across bridge 1 and push box 7 round the ice and into the water at 7. Cross to the central island and ride the right side raft down.

7. Walk across the right side bridges and through the open gate 6. Step on the conveyor and tramp left and up. Walk down the right side to stop the conveyors and cross to the left side to pick up the raft. Ride it right to get the coins in the lower right corridor.

8. Ride left, and use the tramps and conveyors to get to the right side and ride that raft left. Now you can get the coin in the lower left corridor. Ride up and left to get the coin by bridge 1 if you haven't already got it.

9. Ride, walk and ride to the exit.
