New Level (adv) - Return of the Tightrope

There's a few timing moves that might require a restart or two but I'm sure you'll handle it. :wink:

You will need the tightrope texture or it makes no sense at all and the model file helps as well. The texture is Loirae's but I have no idea who made the models, sorry.

edit: I had to remove a sign at the start.

double dog edit: Sorry, I had to make another change, there was a major loop-hole at the start, all fixed. I hope. :roll:

:D :D :D Just a quick update, Yes it is possible to make it to the blue sphere's, Getting back there is no easy task. :twisted:
Still working on getting a bit farther. :twisted: :lol:

This texture is enough to make ya crazy right from the get go! I finally figured out how to kill one red nasty but can't figure out how to kill the other OR get past him (yes the red guys are most definitely hims)

Bob this is an absolutely stunning looking level, the texture and the models, all of it make for an experience that's quite different from usual.

I had to turn the timer off because 5 minutes was way too short for this stinkeroonie. When I did manage to finish, I turned the timer on and played it again Sam, and found that I had 2 mins 9 secs left. 8)

That business in the middle with the rafts and the hidden red stinkers gave me loads of trouble. Then loads of trouble again with the blue boulders.

I have to confess I looked in the editor so that I could work out where to push the reflectors.

And the z-bot was such a thoughtful touch! :evil:

I'd say 10/10 stinker. And 100/10 compelling fun! Thanks Bobster :stinkyhappy:

Help Lizzie!!!!!

I can still only kill one red dude. I can get past him with no where really to go :? In and out of the light blue TP doesn't really seem to help me.

I need some serious help here :oops: :shock:

Robyn,
the reflector by the waterhole is for the left dude, the keg is for the right dude.
Easy Peasy. :wink:

:D :D :D Masterful work Bob, I really enjoyed working out the finer points of this beauty bit by bit.
Those travel rafts sure can be tricky if you let up one bit on concentration.

I don't get it. I got the right dude with the barrel. I can't find a way to get the left dude to shoot himself...or keep the right dude alive to shoot the left dude.
I'm hopeless today.

:D :D :D Robyn, This may help.
Don't blow the right dude until the left dude is gone.
Push the left reflector up first then the push the right up.
Then and only when that left dude is destroyed push that barrel into the TP.

Here's how I do it:

Push the bottom reflector up and left.

Work the reflector near the water-hole down and right.

Step behind it for a moment, then push it up.

Get the hell out of the way!

Left dude gone!

Now push the reflector up onto a raft, you're going to need it.

Then keg into tp. :D

Oh I see - much easier than my way of course! :lol: :lol: :lol:
My way involved pushing the lower reflector all the way up on a raft, followed by the other one. Then I pushed the lower reflector right, then I pushed the left reflector up into the wall, and then the right reflector up into the wall. Left dude gone. Then pushed barrel through TP. (Quite a bit of raft work needed).

Then I moved the left reflector up 1 so I could walk right, push right reflector right, and down (after getting those steel boxes in the water).

Ok so now I got the red dudes taken care of. Found that tramp over by the left side cannons (grrrr) Now how the heck do I get over there --->

I'm at a total loss about the white TP's and blue timer/blue sphere/blue gate issue :oops:

Like they say in these parts 'ya can't git there from here'

Wow this new avatar is totally annoying...better go change that whilst I wait for HELP!!!!

I'm happy to report I just finished this doozy of a puzzle, it's only taken me 3 days :shock: :lol: Wow what a stinker you were when you designed this exceptional puzzle. I have a confession to make too, I took the texture off so I could see :oops: but once I saw what I needed to I put it right back on. :lol:

This walk-through took longer to write than it did to make the level. :D

-raft up, left, up and grab coin, then down, right, down
-step on light blue timer and walk over to the ice area, step down onto the ice after the kaboom has touched the white gate. Now step down off the timer and push the box up into water-hole
-grab the coin between the prism and the reflector, when it's safe, push the metal box up into water, come back step on green tile and take the raft right and push that box into the water-hole then grab the coin off the timer
-walk up to the rafting area and take the bottom middle raft down then left and push the reflector up one square. Raft back and push the reflector all the way left
-take the raft left of the coin up and push that box into the drink, follow and push the top relector down
-here's where you have to be quick or you'll get shot! Move right, down, right
-walk and raft around and push that top reflector down 3 squares and right one, go upand grab the coin and get out of the way
-now stand behind the reflector for a few beats and when there's a stream of cannon fire bouncing off it push it up and move right and up out of the way
-the left side bad guy should be gone so now push the reflector all the way up and follow it on another raft and go left, up, right and push keg into light blue tp, the other dude will blow up
-back onto raft and slide around to push the two boxes into the water and collect the coin off the electro-tile
-raft left, up, down and walk down and take the last middle raft up and push the reflector up one square
-raft back down, up, left, up and right and push the reflector all the way right, enter the tp and push reflector down and over to the top of the ice slide
-push reflector down to eliminate coiley then follow
-take raft right and step into white tp, push right side blue up into tp, raft left and push middle blue right and step down after the left one passes then go and push it up into the right side tp as well. Enter the left side tp from the bottom to get the coin, push the remaining blue right and enter the right side tp from the bottom when it's safe
-walk up and grab the coins in the walls (yes, I know...it's against the rules to have coins hidden in walls :D )anyway when the z-bot passes step down then back up, left, up and left and keep walking, don't worry about bottie :wink:
-go back and get the other illegal coin between the two cannons

You're done!

Wow Bobster that's a long dangy spoiler!

Great stuff and really cool level. I did the beginning way way different, never got that boomer going over the light blue timer and never hit the green button. Didn't need either of em. Once I read that you needed the reflector to handle that coiley I was on my way!

The sphere's gave me trouble and I had to come back and check your spoiler for that part too but finally found that dang hidden coin and got outta there.

This was really cool Bob, I was so stumped as to how to kill those bad dudes at first and then how to move on! Great stuff!!!

I sure hope yer workin' on #100 for us :wink: If there's any box pushin' I'm gonna smack ya Image

Very great level Bob :D I figured it out without your manual instructions/rules 8) and I even killed the first red boy at a different way, by the fire of the right cannon and the two prisms, (probably the same way you did Robyn?) so I didn't use the whole kaboom part, the green gate and the way around the right side of the rafting area.

Edit: I did it once more and now with the reflector-twice-using trick but still don't need those things.

But I have to admit that I changed something with the editor to practice. I changed the very beautiful :!: :D tight rope texture into wood 8), the false walls into common floor and the hidden walls into common walls. There is nothing hidden that shall stay hidden. 8) But after that I played your original one of course.

About replying on old levels, I see the opinions are divided, (Not sure if that's good English 8) ) so I've decided not to do so more then three a day

Looked great and atmospheric with Loopster's texture and the fab models and your great level design! 8)

I needed your walkthrough almost EVERY step of the way :oops: :roll: :? :lol:

Really enjoyed it even with all the help you provided 8)
