I commented on one of Dizzy's old levels that she had totally forgotten about and it got her creative juices flowing and I was proudly bestowed with a series of levels named for me! I think I will keep on commenting on levels I finally solve, no matter how old they are.

Maybe because I'm not into Wonderland as much as others on this forum, I don't get annoyed by most of the reasons for the new "rules". I simply don't play the levels that I can't solve or don't like the looks of! I always try them, but if after several tries, I can't see what to do right off the bat, I ignore them.

BUT, I'm getting better at solving these puzzles and I will still go back and try an old one once in a while and if I solve it, I want the whole forum to know! Ya see, it's all about me me me!!!

I can't believe you have my lack of sticktoitiveness Bobbin Robyn - I always felt you couldn't be beat!

And Miz Diz, if it was all about you you you the levels would have been named Dizzybear! I have to figure out that editor so I can start doing wooden tiled, hidden walled, 3D bouncing Qookie levels with names like "Dizz-asterous" and "Fired - please Rescue me"!

And, what's with Bobnoxiouses (said lovingly) new levels? Me thinks he doest be messin' with OUR beans!!

LAMOL!!! (laughing at myself out loud  ) I had just downloaded Mettes page and I swear, some of Bob's levels were coming up as wood tile textures! I swear!!!! I had downloaded the textures, etc. and unzipped them, but I guess a couple were missing. I went back to the puzzle forum and there were textures for those puzzles! Is someone else messin with the beans?!!! It wasn't me - I stopped messin with beans years ago - in the 80s - I SWEAR!!!

I've only used the 'wood' texture in two maybe three levels, so if they've been changed it wasn't by me.

So let's see where we stand at the moment.

Pandybear is into name-calling and someone else may possibly be screwing around with my levels in the editor.

Apparently.

I wouldn't like to think that someone would actually go into the editor and change a person's levels. But if it is true I have a fairly strong hunch who it might be.

The texture gets changed by the game into the default wood texture if you don't download the custom texture. Patrick made it like this so people wouldn't get the error message if they didn't have the custom stuff.

So now you know who to blame.

I think people should be forced to use the custom stuff, especially if you have gone to the trouble of making your own texture for the level.

DOWN WITH FREE CHOICE!! :P

I'm very happy to hear that, it makes me feel much better to know that someone isn't tampering with levels.

However, what you describe doesn't work on my computer, if I don't download the custom texture or background I get an error message. There must be a patch or something that I don't have.

Thanks for clearing that up Popo. :)

Bobalicious! When I download the levels, if I don't have the texture downloaded and unzipped, I just get the wood tile texture. Glad I don't get an error message - I would never get to see these levels nor play this game!!

By the way, your Tightrope level is magnificent! It was one of them that I didn't have the texture for (through the Mette page) but am really glad I discovered it!

Hope your funny bone is healed soon:)

Bobster did you ever do the update? When you start RTW does it say 3.01 in the upper right corner? Hmm wait I take that back...it's not right when you start it. It comes up after you choose the user name. Maybe that's why stuff isn't working right for ya?

Bob, here is where to check if you have the updated version:

If you don't have v. 3.01, go here for the update:

Gen - thanks so much for posting this link. Somehow I missed it when the patch was first brought out. So now I can play all those levels with texture errors without getting booted out of the game and having to start it up all over again. :D
