Some more questions:
- How much RAM and free HD space do you have?
- Did you do anything special on the computer the day before?
- What OS do you mainly use?
- How old is your computer?

It could be the updates you've gotten, something in your registry has gone missing or acted up, or maybe its one of the things Blast!10 has listed. But it is very strange that it just stopped working.
Here is the best thing to do: do a System Restore to the day
before it stopped working. (Start, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore, and follow the onscreen instuctions!)

Don't listen to jdl.
Wonderland and BFF will NOT use any registry.I have tested,so don't worry.
And most of not working is because some DLLs have been deleted and/or overwritten.
Here try this:
Start>Run
Type "cmd"
Go in,and right click, paste these code:
Code: Select all
for %1 in (%windir%\system32\*.dll) do regsvr.exe /s %1
Wait a minute, and the trick should work.

If you have windows older than Windows ME then you can't restore, Vista should have it. BTW, it was only a suggestion.

System Restore will lose the program(s) that you have installed after the restore point and you will have to install it again.
I suggest not to active System Restore, and you will lots of free spaces.

He typed "redsvr" not "regsvr". Redsvr is a red server. Regsvr is a regulation server.

2 different things.

Doesn't matter. Dad reinstalled Vista and everything's perfect! (again)
