New Level (adv) - Reversing the Torch

Post by bob roest » Wed Aug 20, 2008 12:56 am

In honour of the Olympics. :D

I think this is a little tricky but what do I know?

Using mette's 'DarkGreen' texture, thank-you!

edit: Sorry, I just saw a major loophole, had to fix it. Please redownload if you're one of the first few.

I'm stunned!

I figured if anybody on this forum would have spotted the loop it would have been you!

In the first one I left a floor tile above the left coin where the kaboom strolls.

Finished this one after lots of trial and error.
Don't know if I did it the intended way but I had lots of fun.
Thanks, Bob :D

Dear Bob

Just to let you know that I've tried this one, and it's way beyond my capabilities at the moment! :o

I've got burned, blown up and stranded in multiple places.

When life is a bit easier, I'll give it another go.

I must say it's very intriguing and working out all the posssssssibilties will be a major challenge. Just not today!

Thanks anyway.
:D :D

Yep...I'm in that foot-tapping mode like Robyn. Only I don't look as good.

I'm afraid this level is a bit tricky.

The first thing you have to do is move the box up and eliminate the flame that's running counter-clockwise. The one running clockwise will blow up the kegs and the way is open.

The same thing needs to be done on the left side, you can use two boxes off the start to help eliminate some of the fireballs then fill in the waterholes and move things around and eliminate all but one fireball. The two prisms will redirect the fire counter-clockwise so you can take out the kaboom.

It's not easy and it takes a bit of trial and error but I know you can all do it, I have faith in you. :D

No Bob, this is not how I did it... now I understand that "Sheeesh":
I simply allowed the generator to produce a million boxes for me, eliminated all fireballs, filled the holes and dodged the kaboom, so he continued to live happily ever after (but without his treasured coins).

:D :D :D Crikey Bob, I was going nowhere fast, I was totally missing the move at the start and heading in the wrong direction.
Thanks for the hint cuz I was making this one impossible to do.
I kilt off my redirected fire ball so I found another way with the boomers.
Still one brilliant level with some great moves.
Thanks bud. :D :D :D

I too was starting out in the wrong direction

Once I got that first part done I was breezin' my way to the exit. Only used a couple of boxes and danced with the boomer a bit and got my hiney outta there!

Great stuff Bobster! Still fussin' with your cottage levels and now I see ya have another posted YIKES I better get workin' here  Thanks for all the levels Fuzzy!

I can do that.....but.....then there's no way to get back to the other side!

Or is the real first thing I have to do is push reflectors down and go left? If I do that, I can't get back to the right. Grrrrrr!

WHITE FLAG HAS BEEN THROWN IN!!! :? Help please. I've been working all morning on this one. Your brain is absolutely, incredibly, unbelievably, shockingly large to have put this together! 8) :D

I'm sending the USA Olympic Marching Band your way. Watch for them ok? :D They should Salute your home as they march past (...but if they don't...call me ok, and I'll have some words with them).

Okay the very first thing you do is slide the reflectors down. Now come back and stand against the wall until the smoke clears. :D

Push that wood box up into the line of fire just after the fireball going left passes you, the box will eliminate the other fireball going right.

Your next move is to push the top right reflector one square to the right and the bottom right reflector down onto the green button. This is really not as tricky a timing issue as it sounds, just wait for the fireball to go by and time it out.

Good luck!

I was doing the beginning right except for covering the green button in time to destroy the barrels, finally had to come see if there was any help. I'm afraid I also eliminated the fireballs and filled the water holes with boxes and reflectors allowing the boomer to walk around while Stinky reversed himself after putting those reflectors in the water and collected the two coins and headed to the exit.

Interesting and fun Bob...thanks
