I was only kidding Roger, hope you didn't take that the wrong way.
Lori, you aren't too tall to be a dwarf, majic1 is taller than you.
When will you be 40 btw?

I'll get OG to bring her chainsaw Pauline, that leaves all options open.

Lori,
I cannot see anyone objecting to the rule being broken this time. 39 is still mature enough.
I wondered when your 40th was because it's a big celebration, you know how we love to party.
Welcome to M.A.W.

Sorry Julie, I'm going off now before there's any more mistakes.
Lori, this will be like the WWI we used to have, talk about anything and everything.
I went on a Caribbean cruise for my 50th, cost a flippin fortune from the UK.
Night all, have fun.

Actually a cruise costs a flippin fortune from any desitination...although from where you are is most definitely more expensive. But there is nothing like a cruise...the food, the entertainment, the food, the gambling, the food, the sun, the food, the pool, the food, the partying...
Did I mention the food?

Lori, I'm not being nasty or anything, just expressing my opinion, but why did you think you were eligible for this group when you're not even 39, let alone 40?
Now you're in, you're in, but I wouldn't want anyone else to think it's ok.
You can all start throwing stones at me now. I don't mind, I'm thick skinned. In fact some would say I'm just plain thick.

Nobody will throw stones at you Pauline, I for one admire your forthrightness.
I didn't refuse Lori because it would look petty, I did say 'THIS TIME' btw.
Meaning, it wouldn't be allowed again.

I don't wish to be nasty either, but I agree with Popo.
The age was stated as 40...that's the only point.
Why would you think you are eligible?
Just wondering.
It sounded like you were a few weeks away from 40, but that is not the case.
I'll take the first round Popo

I thought it might be okay because I thought I saw a post about someone being 27...No biggie...You are all right...it would not be fair for me to be on the thread. I can wait...
But if you all don't mind I am still going to get enjoyment out of the posts that go on here

You all make me giggle and laugh daily
If I see something that I want to respond to I will PM that person.
Thanks anyway everyone...

Oh dear. Looks like I started something.
I said I was 27, but it was a joke, I'm really 51. I thought everyone knew that.

Lori..
You are being most gracious about this, and I respect you for replying so positively.
Enjoy being underage....after 40, the only underage thing is AARP; that's 55.
There is a Penn Dutch saying that goes...

Igrapes asked?
I literally am turning 39 in 3 weeks... Does that mean I am not welcome on this message thread
Then Mad said,
Lori,
I cannot see anyone objecting to the rule being broken this time. 39 is still mature enough.
I wondered when your 40th was because it's a big celebration, you know how we love to party.
Welcome to M.A.W.
Usualy I sit back and don't voice my opinion, Igrapes asked and she was never honest about her age. sure she could of lied just to get involved in the MAW! Mad didn't have a problem of joining us after all she started this thread.
And even after the objection because she wasn't 40 and over, she stepped down gracefully. I think that should allow some merit and that she should be able to join.
Plus I also understand the point that if we let one join that is 39 then others will want to join and at the same time it would be wrong to allow Igrapes to join and the others not get to. and we have to draw the line somewhere.

Lori,
Thank you for taking all this with grace and dignity, you will be eligible to join soon enough, don't rush it though.
Hope you enjoy looking in and having a laugh at our antics, feel free to send any of us a PM with your views. Good luck.
Welcome Cat, nice to see you joining our group.
Now folks, can we get back to being totally crazy?????

I qualify as to age (55) but unfortunately I'm still beset with teenage tantrums, school and college work etc.
I started being a parent relatively late in life. Most people my age would be grandparents by now, so I guess I don't qualify to join MAW.
Great idea though.
Liz
