That reminds me that im making over 8 stinking games.

Your own game maker? I wonder how many errors the source code would spew out every second considering how many spelling errors you make.tails the fox wrote:it is a flash game made by my very own game maker i created my game maker because am now a master programer

Lame excuse.tails the fox wrote:But for some reassons my games refuse to load their grapthics when i try to upload a game link!!!
You do have great Paint skills though, I have to admit. The pictures are pretty convincing. However, you can tell that you just drew over the backgrounds of the old Genesis Sonic the Hedgehog games with various tweaks and stuff added.
This all seems pretty fake. If you want us all to think that this is real, then post a video of the gameplay.

Well, even if they are fake it's still kinda cool, especially the "flash bash" one which starts like a webcomic... It's nice and funny
And as for S2 prototypes, AFAIR it's Hidden Palace and Wood Zone and nothing else... The other levels that existed long ago are NOT in that particular rom. (two roms, actually)

Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

Well, Dust Hill Zone is on the level select though it redirects to Mystic Cave, and Genocide City Zone is there as well though it's completely empty...Muzozavr wrote:And as for S2 prototypes, AFAIR it's Hidden Palace and Wood Zone and nothing else... And then there's Casino Night which looks nothing like what it does in the final.
Nooooo, Casino Night Zone does have enough layout similarities, I don't consider it to be a "different level entirely" though it is quite different from the final. If you really want, you can also put Mystic Cave there, since they're very different.
"Dust Hill" is just a name. The current theory is that the level was removed extremely early, but the level slot was there and they didn't bother renaming it until closer to the finals. This "Dust Hill" is not related to the original "Dust Hill" which was a desert level, as was finally proved on Retro after years of thinking otherwise.
"Genocide City" is empty, so I never perceived it as a level, but you're right. The level slot is there and nothing ELSE fills it.
And oh, if you want to be a smarty-pants, there's always the green hill zone, a leftover from Sonic 1 with extremely terrible collision. It wasn't in the final, of course.
So, best answer would be: Hidden Palace, Wood Zone, and Genocide City.
EDIT:
I just bothered to actually look closely at his posts... yes this is probably fake.
However! To tails the fox: if it IS fake, then... just continue this as a webcomic. You HAVE good Paint skills. This "flash bash" is a great start for a potentially decent Sonic webcomic.
If it's a real game... post a video.

I'm talking about art design. Casino Night Beta's art design is almost entirely different from the final.Muzozavr wrote:Nooooo, Casino Night Zone does have enough layout similarities, I don't consider it to be a "different level entirely" though it is quite different from the final. The only screenshot that exists of Dust Hill (the one with the Sonic 1 hud and Sonic at the far right of the screen) is a mock-up. It's anyone's guess as to if it was actually put ingame, though the level's tiles do exist.Muzozavr wrote:"Dust Hill" is just a name. I remember seeing a piece of concept art for GCZ, I think, though it was under the name "Cyber City Zone". Whether they're one and the same, I don't know, but there's actually a huge remnant of Genocide City in the final game that you can reach through normal gameplay...Muzozavr wrote:"Genocide City" is empty, so I never perceived it as a level, but you're right. That's in the Sonic 2 DRX prototype. Which reminds me, I think that the completely screwed-up level that replaces Labyrinth was actually GCZ's slot at first. Why? Because - in the Sonic 2 Wai Prototype, not only does GCZ have Chemical Plant's music, but it's been found to share the same art tiles, albeit never using them. The messed up Labyrinth in Sonic 2 DRX uses CPZ's tiles, but with no given pattern (hence completely random).Muzozavr wrote:And oh, if you want to be a smarty-pants, there's always the green hill zone, a leftover from Sonic 1 with extremely terrible collision. The Dust Hill shot is indeed a mock-up, BUT the level "Dust Hill" is the desert level, and not just an early name for Mystic Cave.

GCZ concept art: Yeah, I remember that, and, uh, Metropolis 3, right?
As for the "level that replaced Labyrinth" theory: I haven't played Sonic or the protos for months now. I can't remember it all well enough to ponder over this idea.
And anyway... we're going off-topic here.

If you look into the Sonic 2 Final ROM with a hacking tool, you'll notice that Metropolis has not 3, but 4 acts (The 4th act is a copy of the 3rd but without rings). Acts 3 and 4 used to be Genocide City, but Genocide City eventually got converted into Metropolis due to the violent setting of the Zone.Muzozavr wrote:GCZ concept art: Yeah, I remember that, and, uh, Metropolis 3, right?
Okay now, we should get back on topic then.
