DP.
...but on the bridge side, there will be 5 more chapters in ET5! However, my plot outline will have to undergo a major rewrite to accommodate for this, along with adding 300 or so more cages. Also, I'm going to be renaming the bonus levels. Sorry, Emerald.
The release date for Demo 2 is still undecided. I'd say a few months from now, but I'm probably being pessimistic. I still have to draw tons of sprites for all of the new characters and stuff.

Now there's going to be a total of 85 levels or 90 if you count the bonus levels. On the slight downside, new abilities won't be awarded every chapter.
Regarding the cancellation of ET5, I thought that I'd need an ET6 to be able to fully conclude Evil Toaster's story, but that would end up being more filler than anything. All I really needed to do was extend ET5.
I'll try to knock out all of the difficult stuff tomorrow. Right now I'm playing Team Fortress 2.

It's almost as big as Frank, so I guess.boywhoflies wrote:About the toaster-sizes thing...if all the toasters are normal size, but ET was sevral times larger than them, does that make ET a giant toaster?
No, I scrapped most of it.boywhoflies wrote:Will some of ET6's plot be recycled to the extention of ET5?

There will be a total of 15 chests in the game. The "Buy A Red Key" button should disappear once you've bought enough keys to unlock them all, so you won't have to worry about buying too many.Emerald141 wrote:Question: How many Green Chests are there in the game? I want to know how many Red Keys I should buy.

I was wondering. Did Roaster overestimate App?
ET2:Roaster flees when he finds out App is allmost there.
ET3:He fights App, possible out of self-defence.
ET4:He dosen't appear phisically.
ET5:He no longer seems to be scared of App, at all.
Through the games, it looks like he was deathly afraid of App before he actually met him, then after they fight he is quite confedent. So, yeah, did he overestimate App from ET's defeat in ET1?

Okay, in FT9, I want a powerup in each level. (I've come up with 3 new ones but my bro helped with one of them)...anyway, how many new powerups are in the game? I'd like to know so I know how many levels I don't need to make up a powerup for.

If anyone cares, the 3 I came up with are "Drill Twist", which lets you spin spinner-style to "drill" though dirt, "Rage of Fire" which is a overpowered charge attack(that one is optional), and "Metal Nobs" which lets you walk on magnetic walls/cellings.

I've got one! It's called Acid Trip (lulz) which allows you to swim in the insta-kill acid for an amount of time.boywhoflies wrote:DP

There are going to be 4 new abilities IIRC. One of which would cause a huge continuity error if you use it in FT9, so you'll only be able to use 3 I guess. And no, I'm not telling anyone what that ability is.

(I'm sure some will be super-short, though. Like Soap's useless "throw evreything" powerup. I'll try not to be that lazy the whole time, though)
Anyway...curse your amazing vocabulary. I keep having to use google to understand you.
-looks up continuity-
-can't understand the dictionary and dosen't know what page to look at on Wikipedia-
Forget it.
Thanks!
Yeah. Now that I think about it, I'm probaly gonna end up having to program 30-60 powerups with all the charecters combined. I'll make sure to put powerups that will take 5 seconds to program for now on.MyNameIsKooky wrote:Each level? o.oboywhoflies wrote:DP
