Have Fun! :)

Amnon,

I added another white gate to prevent your shortcut.
Let me know if its closer to the intended solution now.

EDIT: I got your PM, so I added a second cannon.

EDIT: I discovered a shortcut with the second cannon, so I added a flame.

Thanks
.

A 3rd version.

I just came to say I finally made it through the 2nd version, after many restarts and a little hint from Mark and I sure didn't see any shortcuts.

Well, let's see how hard the new one is.

I still don't see a shortcut but adding the flame just made it more difficult for Loof.

Still lots of fun, thanks Mark. :D

The new cannon prevents anyone from loitering beside the TP.
The flame prevents the boulder from covering up the cannon.

Thanks for another version but I was able to make it even with the flame. I don't think I can play this level a third time. :D

The new cannon does not effect those with quick fingers, but the flame does - it forced me to use a different strategy, part of which I didn't find myself but had to look at your earlier walkthru.

Still, I am killing the shadows with the wooden box, which apparently you don't like, Mark.

In Revision 2, it was possible to cover the cannon with the boulder, so you wouldn't even need quick fingers.
I'm surprised you resorted to my walk-through for that move. For some reason I thought it was obvious.
I only see one way each boulder can initially move in my present revision.

I intended the ice as a boundary, not a weapon.
Killing them removes the fun of trying to escape.

So you resorted to murder, a double homicide.
You know Chip would have your head for that.
But in the end, it does score more points.

I intended the ice as a boundary, not a weapon.
Then what was the box designed for? In the end it was left over.

That box was designed to be a red herring.
In magic, the purpose is to divert attention.
I use it to mislead you in thinking
that it goes in a particular location.
In this case, an "impossible" ditch.

My levels are full of these tricks.
I thought you knew me by now. :o

BTW, I didn't have a box left over.
.

EDIT:

I just realized what you were doing!
Well you found yet another shortcut.

I just made my 4th and Final Revision.
Hopefully this one will exterminate most
of the alternate paths and workarounds.

Gone is the ice.
Gone is the flame.
Gone is the extra cannon.

Closer to the original version.
But now you have a conveyor.

It's time for me to retire. :stinkyred:

Yes Mark, this works.

Now without the ice, I was left with no choice but to kill one shadow with a gate and the other with a rolling boulder.

I was telling Bob you would probably gate the shadow, though I didn't expect the boulder.
You gave Loof some special dance steps to pull off that double homicide.
Though I won't include any criminal activity in my walk-through.

Once again I needed your help with this conundrum.
The snowmen were particularly stubborn and I couldn't get them to do what I wanted for ages.

What an excellent puzzler Mark.

Thanks for another wonderful brain teaser :stinkyhappy:

Hi Mark
First Stinky found a loose end of Ariadne's thread. Then, after many twists and turns, the duo made it out of this ingenious maze. :D
Thanks again for a great challenge that kept me busy for a long time. To your new one now...
