This is race week in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The 88th running of the Indy 500 will be this Sunday.
Jim Nabors will again be singing "Back Home Again In Indiana"
The flags and National Anthem, the balloon rise, the fly over.....it is all thrilling to see. The race itself is so LOUD you cannot hear a thing.
It is a wonderful experience.....but....
You can see more on TV

Fun one, carolyn.... Years ago when I was young... my dad took us all to the Indy 500... We had so much fun... And u are rite... the noise was sooooo loud... and u r rite again .. u can see more on tv.... That day it so was crowded... very crowded... I am not crazy about large crowds... so I doubt I will ever go again... but its nice to say I have been there ... once.....

I was soo excited when I opened the page and seen this title!!!!!
I actually live in Indy,... and less then a mile away from the track.
I am close enough that I can hear them running around it.I am also close enough for the streets in my area are affected,..LOL.
I don't go to the race(to loud for me),But I do enjoy the parade we have the saturday before the race.Ohh and the parties they have in Speedway and downtown yea I will be hitting them too,...LOL.
I am running to play this level I am sure it is great just like your other ones.

I LOVE Indianapolis, I have spent a lot of time there and know it well.
If I could move ANYWHERE I would move to Indy.
The city is well planned with Interstate roads around and thru the city.
There are so many parks and bike paths..Eagle Creek Park is wonderful. Downtown has been saved and rejuvenated...... Lots of the trees.
And......The people are so nice.
