You need to turn them to GIFs I think to get transparency support. I don't think PNG transparency are supported by all browsers which is probably why it isn't working.

I could really use a "thumbs-up" or "applause" smilies, for those occasions where I really need to praise someone's custom level, custom adventure, custom texture, etc.
Preferably something in the style of ":stinkyhappy:", but something simpler (eg. just some hands) is fine. I'm sick of having to make do with just

And what do you know, here's one, from a recent post by laura n.:

A bit too big, background not transparent, and not really the style I'm looking for, but it's a start.

I'll have to browse 33smiley.com to see if they have more, better ones.
