There's the key and a lock icon above one of the levels. Are there locked doors in some levels which you need keys to unlock, and you can get the keys in other random levels?

I made a stupid mistake and pressed a button that blocked the way to an apple because I wasn't thinking.

Tex actually did die. Eventually, he'll time travel back to Evil Toaster 4 to try to kill you, which is why you saw him in Evil Toaster 4.

However, I'll let him live if enough people want him to survive.

You seem to have a thing for characters that have a "tough guy" persona (which, in canon Evil Toaster, includes Tex and Roaster). Well, I do too!

As for the X2 item, it doubles the value of Gropples and Gripples for a short amount of time when used.

My vote goes to his life.

Probaly a bad idea, but when he's at near death he could travel back to the time of ET5 and the ARS gets him a life-support system, making him weak but basically imortal.

Hold on a sec. If App ends up killing Tex in ET5 or onward, would you end up getting back the Worminator? If Tex dies there, he couldn't go back to ET4, which would mean he wouldn't or scared ET, and ET wouldn't of stolen the Worminator to get away in the first place.

I was thinking that the fight between App and Tex in ET4 would've been erased from time along with the Worminator being stolen. But I don't know much about the ET5 plot, for all I know killing Tex in ET5 could cause a paradox. :3

I never said that App would kill Tex in Evil Toaster 5's time period...

Here's the chain of events:

1. Stuff in Evil Toaster 5 happens
2. At some point during Evil Toaster 5, Tex time travels back to the time period of Evil Toaster 4.
3. Tex attempts to kill App during Evil Toaster 4.
4. At the end of Evil Toaster 4's time period, App defeats Tex in Evil Toaster 4's final boss, thus causing Tex to die, thus that means Tex will no longer exist in Evil Toaster 5's time period, so he is dead there too.

Anyways, level 4 is finished. Might take my shower soon.
