I don't know how to explain it without a screenshot, so here it is.
When I'll open to gate (or the wee stinker does that)
the crab sometimes goes straight further on the path?
Like I discribed it he went south diagonal.
So occassionally he goes straight? Is that it?
I'll let you know when the crab did what we want to do.

Put the wee one to the barrel north of the unstable bridge, bring both scritter to the small island. Make sure to step back each time the bridge comes up so you don't scare crab. When there's only space for the crab left, you stand on spot where cyan gate was. Now, (you can stop read now if you like)
Step on the tile the wee's on,(bridge must be down!!!) make him bounce and quickly step on the unstable bridge and then to the small island. Hopefully the crab goes west.

I made a video of how to
get the crab west:
http://wonderland.nutters.dk/video/MOFI ... behind.avi
SPOILER wrote:This covers from when you have all critters on the small island by the indigo gate to passing the indigo gate with the crab going horizontally. From when the barrel drops I count to about 6-7 before releasing the wee stinker.
I think the quality could be better, but just making the capture program run at the same time as MOFI was a BIG deal for my laptop. You should be able to see it though.

Mette's stinker in on wee's spot.
the crab is on the island, min wasn't.
If I do the same, my crab falls in the water.
Above is from first try, beneath is from last try.
But I waited just a little less until the blue gate opens. That's why I always missed.
I GOT IT NOW!!!

Mette, your video won't play on my laptop. Could it be cause it's Vista?

I had the same problem. It might be that you haven't have installed the DivX Codec on your PC. After installing the DivX Codec on my PC i could open the video with the windows media player.
Is there a message that necessary codec isn't installed when you try to open the video?

Or maybe you have to install FRAPS.
Mette, did you go into Windows moviemaker befor you posted? That's what I had to do anyway, and since you're such a techie, I bet you did too

I'm not good at this techie stuff. I just recorded the video (using Debut Video Capture Software) and posted it. It runs without a problem on my laptop (using VLC media player). I don't even know what FRAPPS is

and I never used Windows Moviemaker. So I'm completely clueless regarding this issue, sorry.
HELP somebody, please.
Best,
Mette

I told you I use FRAPS, Free I think) it's very easy to film when play, and to use. Only problem is that I have to change it in the moviemaker, well it changes itself.

I have no clue what I downloaded, but it worked and I got to see your video Mette.

Well I had a right palava to play it. I downloaded the DivX codec because it said I hadn't got it. It still won't play. So I downloaded and installed an avi converter to convert it to wmv format and that works but because it's an unregistered version of the converter it has a watermark all over it which makes it hard to see what's going on.

I seem to be stuck in a rut. No matter which way I go, no matter who I send first, this always happens. Any ideas?

Lisa,
Use the wee one as a stopper for the crab, and the scritters.

I tried that, I even put him on the left to try and keep crap from jumping in water, but he always finds a way. But I'm gonna go have a look see again.

You need one scritter at the right, wee one up of him, and third scrittet to the left. If you aproach diagoal down, it should work

Oh. My. Word. With a couple of the earlier hints, that has taken me all afternoon. Step, save, step, save, step, save ... but having finished, the end was quite fun!

Does that mean u take scritter before you take the crab?

My crab went first thru the green gate and then the scritter
but my wee stinker was first, so before I directed the crab thru the green gate

Ok, I've seen the video, but that is one step beyond where I need help. I have the everybody except my own character up on the upper right hand area before the light blue wall is lowered. I've tried everything, but I can't seem to enter the section without the crab going in the water or moving to the wrong spot. Can some help me set up where each animal and wee should be before the blue wall is opened?

Hi bpurcell. Set them up like this:
S=scritter
C=crab
W=wee stinker
You
On the tiny island, you have a S next to the gate, the C in front of him, and S North of scritter 1. W is on first N onestep bridge. -When up and down-bridge is down, move yourself onto the spot W is on, he will move away without destroying the tile. Now when bridge is up again, quickly step down and let W bounce.
Good luck

bpurcell,
if you have a look to the video of Mette you will see how the figures need to stand in front of the blue gate. In the end with this picture i manged to get through the blue gate. But nevertheless it took me some hours to figure out to get all to these positions.
Try the hints above. From my memory:
the scritter from the beginning needs to go throgh the green gate before the crab will go through the green gate. One scritter took the way over the barrels south. second scritter and the crab went throgh the cyan gate.
Remember that you can direct crab in the way that it goes one step only.
This is the way i had managed this step in the level. I'm sure there are also other way. But finally you need to get the figures before the blue gate to the positions like you see it in Mette's video.

I must have misspoke. It's the cyan bridge that I'm wondering about. Obviously I need everyone in the area before that one scritter activates the button he's sitting south of. Once I enter, he always hits it. How do I bring the animals in without having the crab go in the water everytime I enter.

Is this the second gate at the beginning? If so, chase him a bit further, or use the Wee one as a stopper. Remember diagonal, and for crab, one step forth and back also helps.

I've snapped a picture of my issue. Currently, simply moving up causes the crab into the water. If I move the wee up to block the water, one of the scritters jumps to the barrel to the left and gets stuck. If I move the wee to the barrel, the crab again goes in the water.
Did I set this up wrong and need to do something earlier? Any help would be apreciated.

Move the wee to the roundshaped square NW of crab. The scritter isn't stuck if he ends on onestep bridge.

Nevermind, I finally figured it out. I needed the crab one step higher when I move him in. I've now got them all just before the bouncer, including the spikey. I'll look higher up this thread to see if this has been addressed.
Is the spikey necessary to go down, and if so, how is it used?
